Vecepia unfortunately has the PRoD hanging over her win, as she probably couldn't have beaten Pappy or Kathy in a head to head vote.

Tina had a positive attitude, dominated strategically, pulled off the first ever Survivor coup, and beat an alpha male to prove a woman was capable of winning Survivor against a man. Given that she's one of only two women who can claim to have beaten a guy, plus she's either the oldest or second-oldest winner ever, I think she's deserving of the Hall of Fame. |

And I guess while I'm here... my 4 pics: Richard Tina Rob C Cirie But if I could be as biased as I wanted, swap Tina for Amanda and Richard for Yul. =) |

Kitty Pryde1 wrote: All of them being villains is just coincidence. You'll have to refresh me on what coup Tina pulled off because I honestly don't remember? If you mean the fact that Ogakor took control at the merge, that wasn't really a coup considering that they were 5-5 and Tagi did the same thing the previous season. And there were 3 women who beat a man in the finals, Tina, Jenna, and Amber. I think the specifics of her in general (age, gender, random things she was third or fourth in or one of five to do) don't really qualify her. That's just my opinion. |

Tina, even with being the first woman to win and the winner in the most popular season, was completely overshadowed by Jerri, Colby and even Elisabeth and Mike
to some degree.

Richard & Rupert should be the only 2 who truly deserve their spots, I know people hate Rupert, I'm not a big fan either, but he is the most popular
Survivor ever and was at one time the face of Survivor, he actually got people talking about Survivor again. The other Survivor's mentioned here, people
can make a case of, but I think none of them are as deserving as Rich & Rupert.
My picks for the other 2 spots are Rob C, he is the best player to never win, I know Cirie supporter's will disagree. I think Cirie is a great player and deserves recognition for her game playing, but I don't think she is as deserving as Rob C. The other spot would have to be Jerri, or possibly Stephanie in my opinion. I disagree with Tina, she is a great winner, but I don't recall people talking much about Tina while Outback was airing on tv, the only one people heard about was Jerri, and in my opinion, Outback wasn't as good anymore once Jerri was voted out. Stephanie is the most popular female contestant ever, so she deserves a possible spot as well. |

Are you kidding me? And this on the heels of calling Jenna least deserving winner ever...I think the biggest surprise in his picks is that he chose a WOMAN for the Hall Of Fame...big leap for the sexist moron... |

She outplayed the rest, whether she was female or not...and I'm no Tina fan but come on, men and women are equal and equally deserving in this game, if they play it well... |

There are my picks:
Richard Rob C. Fairplay Tom Each of these players basically changed how the game was played in some way. Richard's impact is obvious, and the comcast dude basically covered why Rob C. and Fairplay have greatly influenced gameplay. I actually agree with Jeff of the Tom pick, because he was the first ever alpha male to win. All of the other major leaders and challenge threats had lost. Yes, Colby got close, but Tina completely played him. The thing is, after Tom won, we got more of these types of winners, mainly Aras and Yul, and more of these types of players did well (they all got far in Fiji, even though Earl ended up winning). It wasn't really until China that big time athletes started getting beat up on again. However, arbitrarily cutting it off at four makes the list way too small. With more space, I would also add Tina (she basically conned everyone out there), Brian (the guy is a sociopath, but that also makes him one of, if not the best player ever), Steph (only Palau Steph. Guatemala Steph was not nearly so compelling, and one could argue that even though she got farther, she played worse), Cirie (another one of those insane social and strategic players. She didn't do that much that was completely revolutionary, just small things here and there performed with impeccable execution), Todd (same reason as Cirie), and Amanda (making the finals twice deserves this). Rupert does not deserve a spot, imo. Yes, he was popular, but he sucked at the game. He threw a challenge to get rid of Burton, which ended up completely undermining his tribe's dominance, and then he got blindsided completely. Then, during the next season, he, along with Tom, Jenna, and Alicia, basically hand Romber the win. They don't try ANYTHING to stop him, even though he is even more obviously in control than John Carroll was back in Marquesas when he was saying "I am in control" to everyone (maybe this is a mild exaggeration, but it was pretty bad). How does he even get considered, because he is popular? Popular does not equal anything in survivor, except maybe getting completely destroyed. |

If I could go back and change my picks, I'd probably agree with Probst and replace Sue with Rupert. I'm not a Rupert fan, but he is the first person
post-Australia to weasel his way into pop culture.
