This is one of those shows I never thought I'd actually like. I always kinda watched it if it came on, but really started getting into it in the last 2
seasons. I'm sad to see it fall by the wayside. FUCK ABC! FUCK THEM RIGHT IN THE NOSTRIL!

Loved it!
Many moment's already mentioned including the big one; the marriage. Brilliant way to end and a ice twist to the TV staple. -I'm going to miss Jerry's wooden cigarette persona. Nice we got one more dose. -Shirley's quitting was epic. "Especially you. They fired you twice."
-one of my fave things from the entire series was Denny's sweet love for Shirley. -Alan's 'firing' of the new bosses was a great, great speech. -"Smile group" :D -Alan mentioning that the cases they usually take are typically preposterous -"More life on Mars" nice DEK -"It's like jumping a shark!" -Chang, Poole & Schmidt
-the Chinese guys sitting on the balcony HATE -who didn't scream "Kiss her!" to Jerry? -the perfect final balcony scene Thanks DEK, Spader, Shat, Bergen and all the rest. 5 fantastic years.

Ditto ditto. I think it's gonna take a while to sink in. One of my fave lines (and I can't remember right now which episode) is when Denny and Alan are in jail, sitting glumly, and Denny says: Why haven't our significant others bailed us out? Alan replies: Denny, we ARE our significant others. Indeed!

Classic, absolutely a classic ending. Even the first hour was terrific on every level. The paint gun shenanigans by Denny was hilarious. I don't know when
I saw such amazing chemistry between two characters as I've seen between Denny/Alan. What a bizarre and appropriate ending. I feel like a cig!

he only thing I ever hated about this show was how they changed the supporting cast....every season.I didn't like that people just disappeared without explanation sometimes.... I didn't want to be distracted by being on the computer while watching, so I was AWOL here last night. WOW. I honestly loved every moment except when the douche bags were in Alan and Denny's chairs on the balcony. that steamed me. how perfect was that ending? I picture Denny and Alan starting their own practice, and growing old together while "cheating" on each other with the occasional woman. lol I'm glad I discovered this show, even if I did come extremely late to the party. I feel enriched having seen it... just finished watching the fourth season last night prior to the finale. I missed the beginning of this season though. Do we know whether ABC plans to rerun any of the 5th season at all? the Bachelor starts when? Maybe they'll show a few!! (hope hope) oh- I was totally telling Jerry to just kiss her already. I wish I could give Emmy noms to every cast member, as well as the writers/directors. |
