The thread is alive because its actually a good question and one that most people here will come up with something different as an answer. The show hits on many levels and all cylinders at the same time. There has never been NOR ever will be another like it. Survivor single handedly created and will single handedly finish Reality TV. Its the only show thats on in a time slot that you want to see. In fact its right where Seinfeld used to be. Yeeeeeeees this is getting a little loooong winded and yes I'm taking a break from work just to brighten up your little days here at Sucks.

It was my first time sending in a DVD application and it was for S10. They decided to try DVDs but ran into trouble reading all the different formats out there. So they went back to VHS. Anyway I sent mine in the first week expecting nothing. I went home from work 3 days later of Friday and decided to take a healthy dump. Both phones were outside the bathroom. I was all hipped up that week as anyone who sends in a tape will know. Its like waiting for the best moment of your life. So I'm on the crapper and my cell phone rings. Damn...I think if the land line rings its got to be Survivor! It does within seconds of the cell phone and there is no one to answer it. I pull the pants up fully carrying a nice load (no time to wipe) and pick up the phone.....Hello? Hi is this xxxx.....yes it is....this is Penny from Survivor did you send in an application? Yes....We can't read your DVD could you send in a tape? I say " You have a 24 million dollar budget and you can't afford a computer to read DVDs? Penny apologises and I hear her and a guy conversing and she says to him.."He's not really aaaaa and he says Hmmmm? And I say I'll send a tape and she says take your time. And thats it. Then I waddled away rejected with a load.
