Ben tells Jack you all have to go back. Well who does that include? I think that this is the most important question of the offseason
Confirmed By Ben Specifically
Jack
Locke's Body [which it is my wishful thinking is actually just Locke faking his death by having the Paulo and Nikki spiders bite him]
Most Likely Confirmed when Ben Said He "Had Some Ideas" On How To Recruit them
Sun [possibly contradicted by her conversation with Widmore]
Hurley [chatting with Walt also]
Kate [Her dream is further evidence, maybe]
Sayid [further evidence being that he is already working with Ben]
Questionable:
Ben himself: A very important question, he did say that upon turning the wheel he could never come back, but have things changed? Did Locke [possibly]
turing the wheel give him to right to go back [but if so then why must Locke's body go back?] or was Ben lying in the first place? If he doesn't go
back with them, what role will he play?
Aaron: It seems to me the the minimal defition of who needs to go back is the Oceanic 6 [thoug Locke's body going back seems to extend this] so I would say
Aaron needs to go. It's possible this is what Kate is apolosiging to Aaron for after her dream
Sun's Kid: If the definition is "anyone who has been on the island before" then yes. If the definition is "anyone who was on Oceanic
815" then no because she was not yet conceieved on the flight. If the definition is "people who escaped on Frank's helicopter" than yes.
Desmond: For O6 and 815 theory than no, but for the excape and been on the island before theory than yes
Penny: Under no theory would she count, so I'm suprised that people online seem to be considering her. Indeed, the fact that Desmond will have to seperate from Penny again is probably a plot point.
Frank: On the escape/ off the island theory he counts, and indeed I bet he plays a key role in that I bet he pilots a plane that will get everyone back and
thus fullfill his role and die.
Widmore: In the same vein is people considering Penny being suprising people not considering Widmore is too. Technically, despite being an enemy, he has been
on the island, so unless former leaders cannot return or one of the other theories is the correct one Widmore technically counts. Interesting.
Another question is what Ben will do to get these people to go back
Ideas
Hurley: A promise of return to sanity?
Sun: Jin?
