Well well well, Izaak is gone. <br> <br>
I have been intrigued with Izaak's storyline since Day 1. I completely agreed with the judges concerning his audition - he was unique, had a good look, and
had "diamond in the rough" potential. I remain convinced that Izaak and Kaitlyn were never chosen as cannon fodder. They were put together for a
reason - to be the inexperienced-but-filled-with-potential youngster team who would both grow into great dancers along the way. Izaak's dancing was a
little uptight for the first few weeks, and I do agree that he let Kaitlyn down a little bit. Kaitlyn's storyline was unfolding exactly the way the judges
wanted it to, but Izaak was not satisfying them. The judges wanted Izaak out at Top 12 and were convinced that he would be in the bottom 3. I'm pretty sure
that if that was the case, they would have gotten rid of him and Lara, and probably would have kept Kaitlyn, so that she could fulfill her potential with a
different partner. When he wasn't in the bottom 3, the judges were furious, and decided to humiliate him on the Top 10 show. It was a hilarious backfire
that Jean Marc should have seen coming light years away. Anyways, the truly tragic side of Izaak's storyline is that he WAS improving, but because the
judges never forgave him for outlasting Francis and Danny, they never gave him the credit that he deserved. They also chose to never give him EITHER of his
genres (smooth hip hop and contemporary), knowing full on that he would probably do well and that they would be forced to complement him, thus increasing the
probability that Izaak would make it even further in the competition. Izaak had a rocky road, but I'm proud of him for keeping his head up along the way.
If he continues to train, I think that he will be a fantastic dancer by his mid-20s. <br> <br>
Lisa's elimination wasn't a huge shocker, but I think that she deserved Top 4. She brought it every week. Her arrogance bothered me, but I respected
her fire and competitiveness. She WANTED this. <br> <br>
Last but not least, Tre's group routine was wack. Bad dancing, bad choreography, bad everything. We hadn't seen a trainwreck in a while, so I guess it
was time. <br><br>
Oh and one other thing - is it just me, or did the other dancers look ecstatic when Izaak got eliminated? They probably just like Miles a bit more, and they
were happy for him making it through, but damn they looked pretty heartless.

I think you're dead on about Izaak except I doubt the judges were furious as much as they were worried and confused. Also I think his improvement was such
a long time in coming who's to say Joey or Kevin wouldn't have improved twice as much given the extended stay Izaak got.
As for Lisa, I think top 6 is about right for her. And I loved the way she took the news, seemed like she was expecting to go but damn she wanted this bad. Lisa could have easily been a top four contender but I think given what Allie and Natalie have done in the competition they're the best top 2 we could get. Allie has been versatile and sound from day one, and she's kind of adorable which counts. Natalli has the "wow" factor in spades and is probably the most dynamic and exciting dancer on the show, and she's kind of hot which counts. I'm actually happy about Miles being top 4. I think in the b-boy/popper world he's better than other sytycd competion such as Ivan and while Twitch was probably more versatile in his genre Miles has actually improved outside of the popping whereas Twitch didn'. So Nico is the the chosen one and we'll all be stunned if he doesn't win. Can't say I'm rooting for him either, though he was damn good with Natalli. |

I've been reading other forums, and one topic that came up was the routine that would be given to sexy Natalli and sweetie Allie. (kind of a mismatch in
some ways, I agree). Apparently, one popular idea is the "sweet schoolgirl turned skanky theme"
Anyway, I am looking forward to Natallie

I like your top 4, Canada. Vincent could have been there over Miles and I would be okay with that, too.
I have to rely on you tube, so I saw only one of Izaak and Allie's dances, and did not see most of the solos, because I couldn't find any video. It's frustrating, eh? Props to Melissa Williams' quick step--that was awesome and probably my favorite quick step ever on any of these reality shows. It was traditional but had a sexiness and wildness I've never seen in that dance before. I can't believe Natalie and Nico killed it. Great job! I've loved them both from the beginning. They were also fantastic in the old-school hustle. |

Apparently, one popular idea is the "sweet schoolgirl turned skanky theme" You changed your avatar! I guess Diana Degarmo is pretty old news... Anyway, yeah, I had the exact same idea. It almost seems too perfect. You have the youngest girl in the competition (I think Kaitlyn was the only other 18
year old), and she might be the youngest female to ever make the finals, and she's just so bubbly and cute (in a non-sexy way) that it's almost
sickening.

They could each represent an archetype, so no, it wouldn't be MPD at all. Actually it would be interesting if they could play AGAINST type. You'd better be kidding about the folk dancing. They're all quite similar and boring. |

Trepak sucked, all it did was send both men to the hospital.
And I realize that Lisa/Allie probably would have been pissed away just like Katee/Courtney last season. Natalli with Allie opens the door for new ideas. We'll probably end up with something stupid anyway, so why bother talking about it. |

Am I the only one not that into Allie? Ok, she's cute and all but I don't see anything that she does really that interesting or different. She's
a good dancer, her solos are ballerina shit and she smiles a lot. She's done great performances but she's kinda vanilla to me. She's the female
Nico for me, great dancers but a tad bordering on overhyped.
I'd like to see Miles or Natalie to win but I'm sure it will be Nico or Allie. |

Allie, Arassay (sp?), Vicent and Nico should have been F4. With Miles and Natalli in F4, I guess Nico would easily win. Anyway, I love Allie but isn't she a little too chubby for a ballerina? What's her deal? She used to do ballet but not any more? |

I didn't like that stupid fox thing, but didn't really like the Danny/Neil routine wither. I found it very overated, considering it paled in comparison to Danny/Lacey's viennese waltz, which was easily the best dance of that night. The prince thing was okay, nothing great. And no, MikiBoy, you're not that only one who's not into Allie. Most people here have pointed out that she seems to have peaked a long time ago.
Although, I do like some of her more creastive solos (the top 10 one, and this top 6 results one, which was like jive style-ballet).

I know, the women's side of the contest (as a whole) has been so much stronger throughout the entire season (even earlier on, like with Caroline and Jessie
and Romina and Dario), although I feel Vincent is probably the best dancer of the whole competition, at least technically. But the top 4 girls > the top 4
guys.

The irony is, in spite of the overall strength of the women in this competition, I wouldn´t be surprised to see the 2 men go 1-2 in the final

I think it may have had more to do with the fact that Vincent got the boot before/because of Izaak and this was retribution for that than it had to do with Miles staying. |
