Since Marcus and CHARLIE wasn't mentioned ONCE in the entire recrap, I can only think showing him and Jacquie like that was SEEBS's saying, "See.
He's really straight." After giving him one of the gayest edits that I've ever seen a "straight" man get on PrimeTimeTV. And the gay
subplot or plot continues in the rather joyous Ponderosa vids.
Especially Charlie and Marcus trying on clothes for TC for HOURS!?!? What straight man does that? And then we get that final shot of Marcus, Charlie and Ace all jumping in the lake and Corrine saying "Those boys! Those boys!" and commenting on Marcus' "cute little ass!" |

Why one earth do you think they wait until AFTER his boot, that they show a clip of Randy on the verge of crying talking about his dog? Don't you think they could have worked something that emotional into the storyline if they wanted? Of course they could have but that one thing probably would have kept the viewing audience from totally hating him. Of course now it doesn't matter and Randy's character needs to be healed a bit. Like Orangeena pointed out they also tried to heal Marcus' gayest non gay guy edit ever ... remember Marcus lovingly taking a bite of food from very willing Charlie's shoulder? Remember Marcus, in a confessional talking about letting Charlie in his "inner circle." Survivor loves to do this crap to people. It was really presumptuous for Sugar to try to teach Corinne how to act in front of people. I think Corinne was justified being pissed. But Corinne attacking Sugar based on not having a degree and that she was getting by on her looks was pretty stupid too. Corinne is physically very beautiful so it is hard for me to believe that she didn't use this along the way to get her degree and in her life. No, not saying she went back to her professor and said "I would do anything for an A" thing. She has had to use her looks to get by, just like Sugar ... Corinne's physical beauty is a reason she is on the show. Survivor, has used the recap to successfully villianessed Corinne for the viewing audience. Don't you suspect that this plays into her boot? For sure Sugar makes it Final 3 to fulfill Corinne's promise. I think I am going to like Corinne anyway. Hell I defended Jenna from Amazon when every woman viewer wanted to kill her, good Lord I caught hell at the time. ----- OK, I edited this to change a word to crying because "t e a r s" is treated as a bad word WTF?

They promoed the fact that NOBAG camp was burning down, Randy...how did he do it?Nobag is the stupidest tribe name ever. Obviously, it was stupid when they came up with it, but I figured by the next week I would grow numbed to the stupidness, and it would just be a name, like every other tribe name. But even after two weeks it hasn't. Every time they show the tribe flag, every time they subtitle the setting, the only thing I can think is how stupid the name is. So I think the chyron guys burned the camp down, just so they wouldn't have to type the stupid tribe name anymore. (Btw, my pbp favorite for this season is still "The elephant *%%$% through the woods". Poor, sad, elephant!) |

Sam, I work with people like Corinne. They can always see the other person's shortcoming, but not theirs. Very aggressive/self assured types, but they are easy to de-rail if one doesn't take the rather bold front. Sugar probably sees that type on a regular basis. She's actually a fairly sucessful actress/model (I bet Corinne would give a lot to be that sucessful) and has her own sense of security. She's probably telling the truth about being between jobs, but they are likley well paying jobs. |

Well, they are finally showing the side of Corinne we were waiting for all season! I'm still dumbfounded at how she could possibly think that Sugar
wouldn't have found the idol with FIVE trips to Exile tho. Bob was able to go through all the clues in one day - why couldn't Sugar possibly do it in
10? I am dying to see her reactions at the finale when she realizes how much she really did underestimate Sugar.

To me the MOST revealing thing ab out Corrine was how condesending she was towards the KOTAs he "onion alliance". She's a snobby bitch through
and through, "OMG...it's PATE, they don't even know what PATE is..." she is one of those people who truely believe they are above everyone
else. and don't take into account that YES, someone who DIDN'T go to college (SUGAR) can be smart and someone who did (DAN) lawyer...could be stupid.
I can't stand condesending people. The part with Marcus and Jackie was shown yes, to put Marcus in a more manly light. He's getting the gayest editing EVER...more than Rich etc... I also think it was shown because we saw Corrine get jealous etc.... again more insite to her true personality. |

I wouldn't know Pate if I saw it either- Marcus/Charlie/Corrine all seem to have come from the same upper-income social class (with religion coming into it
a bit I think as well.) That's one of the things that's great about the show when it "works" - seeing people who would normally never in a
million years meet each other suddenly have to work together.

but that's exactly what surprised me about Corrine... she was talking about how stupid all of them were... Charlie and Marcus included. Marcus was snifing
the Pate and said looks like catfood, to which Corrine rolled her eyes. And the Gerkins comment, about how "they are GERKINS...not Gabon local food
"these people" are sooo stupid, I hate them all."
Of all the people out there I though she would actually have nice things to say about Marcus and Charlie. But her confessionals tell the true story, she was nice to them and backed them up in voting but in realitly she thought they were stupid etc... I guess she thinks she is the only out there who is smart. Marcus went to Harvard (then med school)and Charlie went to (Yale??) yeah pretty "stupid" those two. |

I'd love to think she has a huge epiphany about just how narrow minded she is as she's watching the show, but I'm sure she's figured out some way to excuse her own actions and attitude. And yeah, it was really surprising just how nasty she was about her own tribemates and supposed friends. Just a nasty piece of work our Corrine. I wouldn't know Pate if I saw it eitherEh, pate is o.k. but it actually DOES look like cat food! |

Randy showed he's not going to give Sugar her due, and I'd agree Corinne will follow suit. You can tell she's a high power salesweasel. She
even puts her comrads down. She definitely won't admit defeat by someone she considers beneath her. I do sense more humility in Charlie and Marcus. I
usually get the "I may be successful, I'd rather be doing something else" aura from even the most successful salesweasel's.
