this is why I usually don't even watch any of the new shows until they get at least a couple of seasons into the thing... I just
HATE it when I get all interested, and then it gets yanked before there are enough eppys for syndication.

Fuck me. I just heard about this ten minutes ago at my corner store. (The clerk, with whom I talk TV broke the news to me.) I'm not surprised or angry,
just bummed.
ETA: I just remembered that 'I Survived A Japanese Gameshow' was recently renewed... I think I'm angry now.

I couldn't think of anything clever to do with my 4000th post, so I decided to use it to express my sadness for officially losing the show. I was just
watching this week's episode today and it made me even sadder knowing it was officially going to end soon. At least we got the equivalent of a full season,
and hopefully Bryan Fuller will provide us with some sort of closure for the show. I think the idea of a movie is very unlikely to happen, but it would make me
so very happy. I can live with the comic book thing, as long as it doesn't feel like a put-together-in-5-minutes type of thing.

how come great show's like this get cancel, but CSI has two fuckin spin-offs? No one watches the great shows. Pushing Daisies, Friday Night Lights, 30
Rock, etc...

Damn! I hate "to be continued". I know it wasn't technically, but might as well have been. And are they even going to show what happened next
week? The preview didn't look like it. Who played Gustav's widow? She looked familiar but I couldn't place her.

It WAS her...Jennifer Elise Cox! Please, sofa, she was the best thing about those movies.
Now all I can think about is how they're going to wrap this series up in a satisfying way. Knowing that the end is rapidly approaching doesn't make watching the show any easier. |

Rosie Live (aka What the Fuck was NBC Thinking) beat Pushing Daisies in the ratings. FOX started the night in first place with a 6.1/11 for "Bones." CBS' comedies "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Gary Unmarried" did a 4.8/9 for the hour. Over on NBC, "Rosie's Variety Show" was third, 3.5/6, with ABC's "Pushing Daisies" only pulling in a 2.7/5 for fourth. A "Stylista" repeat finished last. |
