No, the ratio of existing posts in this forum is 300 to 80. That isn't surprising to me though since this is the board I come to on which to discuss Kelly's stocky appearance and flagging career. I'm quite sure I haven't tried to hide that fact. I've got 90 posts about Clay to your 80 posts. I guess I was wrong about you. Oops! I was right about TSTL though. She has 326 posts mentioning Clay. I think she might be enamoured with him.

Clive doesn't run RCA anymore. IF, and that's a pretty big "if" since no official word has been released that he's working on Kelly's album in any capacity, then so what. I'm sure the new head of RCA will be watching his ass like a hawk to make sure he doesn't sabotage her again.

Answer:
You know one way to look at it is the difference between Country acts and Pop acts. Nashville typically publishers come in or writers come in they'll play me songs, they'll play Reba songs. Reba will take meetings with the publishers, that's the way we've always done it. In the Pop world that is very rare we found, because we took Kelly to LA to the publishers to take meetings and have them pitch. That never happens, they've never had an act come in and do that. One way Pop songs happen sometimes is they just put a writer and an artist and a producer in a studio and just hope magic happens. You know, where in the country world we always go in with the song, and a schedule and this is how you're going to do it. There's that difference, but ultimately we're bring some Nashville sensibility to the pop process which is sort of refreshing and it's opened the door to a lot more songs. With Kelly talking to the publishers directly, she's able to tell them, this is the kind of thing I'm looking for, and they can go back to their writers and their writers will write for it. And they're getting that feedback from her. I mean I could go in and meet with them, but I'm not Kelly Clarkson. The A&R guy can go in and he might find great songs, I might find great songs, the mail guy might find great songs, but hearing it from Kelly, what she's looking for is the key.
