it's funny because in the official site forum there is a lot of people who despise Crystal and Kenny, and are rooting for Corinne, to revenge Marcus, their
favorite castaway... As I said I don't think Corinne can win this game, but it is all open for Matty, he was always spared from the negativity on Old Fang,
and, also, he was never shown making a stupid move (like choosing Kelly was portrayed), or being cocky to the point to selfishly choose to boot one person
because you don't like him, while the rest of the alliance had already choose other one to go..

Examples please? I'm not a "hardcore vadge supporter" and Corinne is my #1. So who are you referring to? Well, since nobody since Tina has won with an INV, and nobody EVER has won with 2 INV's, what other reason besides personal bias could there be for keeping Corrine in edgic contention? Wasn't Rafe eliminated from contention for getting one INV back in S11? So even if you think Corrine's second INV is debatable, there's no excuse (edgically speaking) for keeping her in contention (let alone as the #1 pick). |

I'm still unclear why the editors banged us over the head with Kota being the god tribe, Fang sucking arse, and
Marcus being the man so repeatedly, only to have the negative losers triumph and have a turn-around edit, the feel-good winners implode and burn, and Marcus
getting booted as an arrogant prick.
It was nice for the show and all, but I'm just confused as to why they did it in the first place. Didn't Fang lose all those challenges in reality? Hasn't Crystal's attitude been an unavoidable plot point? She even cites these in the last TC -"I've been called delusion..." Randy had issues, and it looks like it will continue based on the past- "You want a list?" And it might be an issue in the end from juror to finalist. And doesn't the Clean Slate make sense to at least warrant a consideration from you the detective? As a detective, I'd be stupid to eliminate anyone in doing an investigation. So when I look at Corrine -I review the episodes and look at where we are now. I look at an eye roll insert when Sugar mentions her dead father, or the music played when she complains about Susie. I look at her in relation to what they are doing with other characters -mainly Sugar's manipulation. Sugar has too much of a sculpted edit about her not being dumb, and Corrine is just set dressing to accomodate it. Now if Corrine had more insightful views on her prey like Kenny has with Sugar, that would be something. Where's the commentary on Corrine by others? We should usually have that by now -about sizing her up; anything that will boomerang back from a juror to her. |

P.S: While I've got the usae of another computer...
cl: Very true. And we have the rest of the season to create make-overs for the old Fangs. By the final jury, the viewer will have the early season fading into the mists of time. Randy and Corinne are the perfect personalities to do it, too. |

Why Sugar wasn't P:
-One confessional after the RC saying "I have the idol, Bob'll never find it." In a way, he does. -Sugar and Charlie were the ONLY two who didn't say ANYTHING about the wonderful reward. A total time to get some P points for Sugar. The editors chose to not give her anything in that scene why? To give her character a new shape; a new role rather than the sweetheart. -Sugar is the lady of the hour, has a decision to make, is shown being told by two snakes (Ken and Corinne) what to do How is any of it P? Being a swing vote doesn't relate into tone. We weren't shown to want Charlie or Crystal to stay more than the other, thus her "swing" decision wasn't tone-inforced. It was purely strategic; she chose a side of the game. She's shown she's different and not stupid, but that's not P. That's development. But she was completely neglected for the first 75% of the episode that she's MOR. She wasn't shown, like Susie was, telling us the consquences of voting Charlie or Crystal. She's a swing vote. That's all that was presented to us. Sugar; MOR3 |

Fang's original failures were big enough to lose Eden. That had to make the turnaround in their fortunes as momentous as mankind recovering Eden - but only after the slate was wiped clean. It's the greatest redemption story in creation. |

Several posters seem to be under the impression that there are grand biblical allusions at work this season. Has it not occurred to them that the Eden theme was decided upon long before the game ever began - the contestants mention it all the time ( Marcus: "…we're in Eden, but there's no two Adams here ). The creators did not step back after filming finished and go "hey, this season's story parallels the bible. We should make the theme Eden." JP explicitly stated that the Eden idea arose because Gabon was one of the last largely undisturbed areas of land in the world - a utopian jungle paradise. Therefore, how could the theme of Eden have anything to do with the plot, the winner, etc.? |

They could easily be EDITING so the STORY reflects the bible, TKS.

This season's editing is very strange, and it's not just me thinnking that. I've had friends email me today that they miss Marcus, they don't
get the editing of Fang being losers and negative, and suddenly they are supposed to be rooting for them over old
Kota? None of them are rooting for any of old Fang, they hate Crystal and Susie, they think Ken is getting cocky, and they don't really care about Matty. They want revenge for Marcus and are hoping one of old Kota makes the end and wins to save this season from being a bust. I like not knowing who wins, but the way Marcus went out in a surprise twist just sucked... not just to me, to a majority of viewers. Also the way the first half was edited has permanently made people want Kota to prevail, that just doesn't go away because Corinne makes some snarky remarks and Randy tells an oh so negative character Crystal what he thinks of her when she picks a fight with him at TC. Crystal is UTRN in the episode. She was lazy, argumentative and a bully at old Fang like Randy said. Corinne was mixed, she was shown calling a naive Sugar a moron, okay, not nice, but not unheard of in Survivor. She was shown being nice to a little girl, sticking up for Marcus, being a loyal friend even though it could cost her the game. She wanted Bob to go to Exile Island to have a chance at the Immunity Idol, she said it with ++%#+ in her eyes. Sure, she may have cut Bob off at five in the game, but we have seen that she likes him in a genuine way. How are all of those things negative? Sugar was mixed, she can come off as a little naive in the game, she is not all positive all the time just because she is a giggly blond that cries easily. Matty came off neutral toned to me, Susie UTR, Ken CP, Bob OTTP because I really like him and felt sorry for him, Charlie was CP, maybe a 3 in visability. I knew when Sugar was crying at TC she voted for nice Charlie, not negative Crystal. I am really getting tired of Crystal's evil smirks at TC, she thinks she's pulling one over on everybody but the last laugh will be on her, either she goes in a blindside or she loses badly and gets reamed at final TC. Anyone think Ken could be the new faux winner? Hiding the real surpise winner as Marcus did in the first half? With the way this season is going I would not be surpised if that's exactly what's happening! |

YemaGrl1988 wrote: That's true - they may be borrowing themes like temptation, forbidden fruit, good and evil, and so on for the edit. However, the editors have no control over who likes/loathes whom, who betrays/remains loyal to whom, who leaves/wins the game, etc. and so using Bible to predict reality ( as opposed to the edit ) is ridiculous.

His targeting of Charlie wasn't for the soundest of reasons. Either it was a stupid grudge over the idol incident, or Kenny has a blinding fear of alpha males. If Charlie is an alpha male, then I'm the incredible hulk. |

My computer is down. The big, honking Dell monitor is screwing up. I'm spending the evening trying to get some tech help. (Good luck.) And no adapter to

So sorry... |
