Yes, I think I heard the rev of the speedboat and see the sharks circling in the water.

Looks like a season long jump-the-shark arc. It started with the video game episode.

Jim's not really gone. His spirit entered another man's body. Why did they have to mess with his character anyway?

What were the writers smoking?
No. Seriously. |

You have got to be kidding me with this shit. Where was the one person in the room who could have said "Um, no that idea really sucks". They just
should have had Jim jump right into a shark's body.

If they are going to keep him around, why did they even bother killing him in the first place?
I don't get it. This show jumped the shark so far that the show can't even see the shark anymore. |

The whole episode was OK, until the end. But I would have love to have been a fly on the wall in that writers meeting. "Hey, let's go all
"Ghost" on people and have Jim jump into a dead man's body!" "I don't know... that sounds kinda lame... haven't you ever heard
of the phrase Jump The Shark?" "Don't be ridiculous... it'll be the talk of Sucks!" I don't think even the Fonz would have the
gonads to jump this shark...lol.

I have to agree that this episode was really good...until he jumped into a dead man's body. That really can't last that long, can it? It was as if
everyone had started to move on, but Jim, and I think that is where the episode was going, but they could have at least give him another episode or two as a
spirit.

Yeah it was good until in the body thing.. WTF are they thinking? I'm going to give it another eppy or two to see where the hell they are going to take this trainwreck.. |

When Melinda looks at possessed Stanley, will she see Jim or Stan?

seeing the previews, she sees Jim, but he doesn't recognize her.

It's going to be weird for Stanley's family when Melinda starts hitting on him.
Stan's body actually died. Won't it start to decay? Seems there was an episode in an earlier season where a spirit inhabited a corpse and was starting to...smell. |

Very true. But these writers have shown that they are not consistent and are truly lacking in original thought. This latest plot development blows.

I do believe i'll have an open time slot in the future. That was the most ridiculous thing they could have done.

I forgot how possession worked. In the previous episode, I think the body had already been dead for some time, so the spirit didn't experience amnesia.
Wasn't her fake dad also involved in a possession plotline at the end of last season? I don't remember any amnesia there. Maybe the injured dude Jim
possessed had brain trauma.

still dont like where this is going. I hope the writers realize they made a mistake and somehow rewrite something and have melinda be like in a coma or
something. As dumb as that would be, if it would bring back the real Jim, Id get over it. I hate this.

The goal of this plot was for Hewitt to mess with viewers's heads.
The step-in is permanent. Also, what seemed to be an angry ghost realized what Melinda was doing was right: the angry ghost turned out to be insightful and friendly. Now the viewers get to see Melinda and Jim fall in love again. |
