Until the slate is wiped clean, possibly through the sacrifice of someone so positive in tone as to be almost without blemish ( Matty? Sugar?) and clears for him the path to redemption. And so it comes to pass that the meek inherit the earth (or, in this case, the million). i love this idea... however, i still give the edge to Matty... aside from all the obvious theme related.. well, everything.... he had my second favorite quote from last week.... "I'm still in the ghetto... i just want to get out!" I just thought it was funny... odd... that they highlighted this from Matty. I suppose you could say it was reporting, but wouldn't just editing in the second part "it doesn't matter to me" be sufficient... why include the whole bit?? I also noticed that there has been a small underlying sub-theme this whole season... Everyone so far who has talk specifically about money has been voted out (except for Randy, but randy's comments have been more about position)... Ace, GC and Marcus specifically leap to mind. I can't recall if Crystal has specifically talked about money either. anyway...just a random thought. FLF...loved your rant!

To me it was always Marcus - I was 100% convinced. Now I think it's a true toss-up between Kenny and Matty. I was convinced by both cl and OTH, so I really can't make up my mind... we'll see how tonight's episode goes. This season has become so exciting!

Recently I gave Matty the edge but tonight's episode could change all that. I wonder... is it bad for Ken's chances of winning to show him so much in the previews saying he's going to win, etc.? I don't think a winner has ever been pushed in ourt faces in previews like that, not even Tom.

I prefer the MORD because everyone's vote is accounted for there and Close Calls do get accounted for in the math. The cheeseburger is based on the final ratings, and for someone like Randy...who is constantly a close call, i think that some important info gets lost. but no denying... ken does look good (But i still think Matty is tied into the theme better)

I was kind of expecting a mass Edgic suicide when I saw him get the boot last week. Let's cheer for a interesting season!! Tricky editors - hummph Kenny - Marcus, Kenny - Marcus There have been good arguments for both Kenny and Marcus but I think we've seen more character development from Kenny. Marcus mostly fills the cute, strong guy role and I don't remember learning much about him other than the one episode where he allied with Ace. Randy is a great character but I don't think he's winning, primarily because of his wild swings in tone. I mostly just lurk here but I've read enough over the last few years that I think I can safely pick Kenny for the win. But Matty can stick around for the eye-candy factor. Yummy!

In fact, I was named biggest asshole ever. But 75% of us have been like, "we fucked up... let's make edgic better." The remaining 25% have been lame and said, "I knew Marcus wouldn't win all along." BUT I feel like post-season we will be able to reflect and improve edgic by seeing where we went wrong with Marcus. I'm so excited for tonight's episode.

I think Matty relates to the themes and is a guy we are to root for, but he is very in your face; hardly hidden. Matty could be the hero that can't. Kenny's all around a way better pick, but I do have my concerns with this blatant "I could win" from Kenny in the promos... it'll be tricky because, with Fang being the doubt (and the winner most likely coming from Fang), the winner isn't going to get much doubt in the merger. I'm looking for an Earl/Yul type edit now. Both were underdogs, in a sense (from their original tribes).
