I believe the premise this season was that both trainers were allowed to "cast" their own teams (within the husband/wife & parent/child parameters set out by the show). How much actually decision-making authority they really had is unclear to me. But at least that's their story.

I'm sure the trainers are somewhat limited in how much they can speak their minds to and about the contestants on air during the taping. My wife thought some of the other contestants should've called Vicky out on her cuntery. Personally, I'm of the opinion that if someone is hanging themselves, just keep feeding them rope and make sure they've got a good strong rafter to hang it from.

Phil and his wife Amy have to be strong people to be raising a special needs child, especially in the context of an already large family. But I just don't think either of them have the stomach for dealing with people like Vicky, Brady and Heba. You have to Gililooly those fucks, and I don't think Phil and Amy have that in them.

I'd love to see them bring back Roger and Trent from last season to "pride on three" those assholes into the ground.
