It's great because now with Susie having this episode we know about her a hell of a lot more than we knew Alexis & Natalie from last season.
We don't really know anything about Susie though apart from the fact she wants Top 3. Same with Bob's thoughts on the alliance. Last season everyone but Cirie and Parvati was stupid, but we knew what ridiculous plans everyone had. This season is more obviously divided into mostly unlikeable gameplayers and lambs to the slaughter.
Uh, what plans? Was Natalie even allowed to talk until Jason left? Same goes for Alexis during the whole game. This season is being edited 150-200% better than Micronesia. Everyone in the cast has had something to offer (except for Jacquie), and we at least are seeing them in action instead of the editors only focusing on a few people (Yul/Ozzy, Earl/Yau Man/Dreamz, Parvati/Cirie/Ozzy). You cannot say the same thing about Micronesia because the editing was so freaking biased in favor of the favorites. If the final 5 was not so likable, I think the general consensus would be that Micronesia was a sub par season. Yeah, I liked it while it aired because of the blindsides (even though Alexis's boot is one of my least favorite episodes of all time), but comparing it to any other season that had 18 or less people, it's nowhere near as good.
This season's still another Thailand to me - and I preferred the surprise of Sook Jai's collapse over several episodes than the sudden shock of a Marcus boot and likely Onion-pagonging.
Jake = Bob with more camera-time
Clay = Randy with more one-liners
Helen = Corinne with more genuine bitchiness
Everyone else sucks
