I don't understand why no one of the Kota 6 saw that Susie would flip. Here she was, 6th in line to finish IF they all kept their word and no one won immunity. Under the same circumstances, she jumps to Fang and immediately becomes 5th in line. Marcus hemming and hawing about 3rd place was a flat out lie and even Susie should have been able to see through it. Marcus and Bob should have agreed with Kenny and Crystal to vote out Susie, keeping both themselves safe and then threw the next challenge so New Fang could have voted out Matty. At the very least, they could have forced a tie if they were to lose another immunity competition. STUPID play by Marcus, who should have been running the numbers in his head. All the good winners always run the numbers in their head.

Also, I find his post interviews full of himself. One can excuse the interviews and the day after interviews because you have just been tossed out of the game and so you may feel cheated, slighted, bamboozled, etc. and you may say arrogant things and be judgemental because you are still emotional about the game. The way Marcus spoke in the RNO interview is months after the fact so give me a break. There is no good versus evil in Survivor and just because you confided in Crystal, what would make her more loyal to you than to Kenny, who had already saved her and whom she had 2 weeks to bond with during all that Fang suffering? Because she chose loyalty to Kenny over loyalty to you, how does that make her a bad person? Honestly, his benevolent, good for all the tribe not just for me, I lead out of compassion is so full of it. This last episode and subsequent interview made me dislike him very much.

Furthermore, the Kota 6 wrote down Susie at the last tribal council in case Dan had the idol. She saw that. Then when you got back from tribal council you backed up Corrine when she went all gangbusters on Susie for speaking ill of her at tribal council. Now, all of a sudden you need her and she needs to stay loyal for her good too. Give me a break, Marcus. The minute you were faced with a real tribal council where you were in danger, you could not save yourself and your own arrogance made you an easy target over Susie and Bob.

Now, hopefully, new Kota will throw the next one and get rid of Bob. Then we have a game because the onion alliance becomes 3, Sugar distrusts Kenny because of the Ace deception, Susie stays a wild cannon. Everyone likes an unpredictable season where everyone has to play the game and no one gets to coast.

To me, while I love to see the physical dominance in the challenges, the real game of Survivor is not in the challenges in but being able to constantly crunch the numbers, read and manipulate people, play nicely socially, adapt to surprises and scheme to get to the end. Otherwise, why not just get a bunch of physical players to play? Marcus did not have gameplay because he could not adapt when the game changed. I enjoy the changes in the game, I hate when the players can predict merge or when a team gets pagonged. I want people to constantly be on their toes and play. Perhaps the problem with Kota 6 is that they won so much, they really did not have to play until now whereas Fang has constantly had to play the game.

Oh, and everytime someone quotes Marcus here, I throw up a little. What a jerk.
