but. ok. we got an oprah ep. sort of funny... then a jennifer ep. funnier. (and especially worth it with jennifer in that dress as she sang "happy birthday." my god. those hips... *sofa bites his knuckle*) and from the preview, next week we get an ep with steve martin? wtf? liz lemon! i don't like celeb cameos. and now three in a row? you are turning this show into a joke and i don't like it! stop! enough with the celeb outside characters. boo! liz lemon. boo! now do an entire cerie inspired ep... her thoughts, her dreams for the future... her in a bikini or some negligee for 22 minutes? maybe just an entire ep of the camera following behind her as she walks... uggghhh... i'd be down with that. |

I thought the Night Court plot was the funnier of the two. "Stop group hugging! Who does that?"
Jenna being the were-lawyer was hilarious. Markie going off on Harry was gold. "I only didn't win becuase I was too pretty to be taken seriously!" "Well you don't have that problem anymore!" |

i don't like celeb cameos. and now three in a row? you are turning this show into a joke and i don't like it! stop! enough with the celeb outside characters. It's all about how well they use them and integrate them into the show. 30 Rock and HIMYM have a pretty good batting average as far as incorporating guest stars and not making them the center of attention (with the possible exceptions of Jerry Seinfeld and Britney Spears respectively). Great episode but even though Jennifer Aniston > David Schwimmer; Greenzo > whatever the name of Aniston's character. The Night Court stuff was hysterical. I've never seen it, but it still worked. "A court? At night? I'm laughing already!" Best line of the night by far though--"That's like an owl without a graduation cap: heartbreaking!"

Beatles you haven't seen Night Court? Lordy I feel old. I can still bop out the theme song.
The best NC relate joke was Jack's explaining how the real-life version isn't anything like the show. And of course Markie & Harry's fight. And yes Kenneth attempting the sitcom freeze ending was gold. |
