Pretty surprising that Chris Elliott's daughter would even want to be in the cast considering how bad her father made it sound in the Live from New York
book. She's cute but her tape wasn't impressive at all. Michaela has potential at least.
Is anyone really surprised that they haven't gotten rid of the dead weight Casey Wilson? Lorne Michaels never gets rid of anyone unless NBC forces him to these days. Current SNL cast members pretty much get to stay on for however long they want to, and if they ever want to leave Lorne begs them to come back. |

well they've made a point to keep KEENAN for all this time, so SNL isn't exactly known for taking out their trash.

Why would they get rid of their one black guy?

Hopefully next season there will be a large firing and replacement, and Darrell, Kenan, and Casey will leave and be replaced by three black people.
Obviously there's no chance in hell, but I can hope. |

My guess is that now SNL will poach some of the female talent from MADTV.

Except that Kristen Wiig does Mo Collins better than Mo Collins. At least the same type of characters.

I would love to see Stephnie Wier on the show. It's not like she is doing anything now, and I think of all the great women on MadTV she would be the best on SNL. |

I've seen Michaela Watkins perform at the Groundlings. She's a freaky genius. Very funny and smart.

I mean, they grabbed Martin Short after SCTV. Maybe they'd consider her too old at this point (she's 38, you know, so she's almost ready for Social Security by SNL female standards!) |

Amy's still in the credits, so Lorne is expecting her to have a sendoff, or something.
And there's the two new chickie-babes! How many sketches do we expect Beyonce to be in? I'm kind of expecting her to be the girl in the MacGruber shorts. |
