Yayyyyyyy!!!!!! Just watched this week's episode and it was sooooooo much better! Love Papa Petrelli, loved the puppet dude and the roulette, loved the
Hiro/ African Isaac scenes! Adam's death was really cool.
There was so much good stuff I could ignore Peter and Sylar's intense whispering growls to each other. Did they both go to the David Caruso School of Acting? |

All I can say is FINALLY.
Finally they did the right thing with Peter. Taking away all his powers for the moment was a good move. It was annoying how he was becoming ridiculously powerful. It would be stupid for one of the main characters and good guys to be unstoppable. Thank god. Also gotta mention the Hiro/Ando scenes where they were trying to capture the African were great. |

Papa Petrelli's power stealing must be temporary. We're talking genetics-based powers, and I doubt he's changing their DNA. Mebbe a shot of
adrenaline will wake up their powers. Or sex. And he didn't look like he had any past stolen powers in his sick bed.
No cure for Maya. So Peter would have already had his Papa's power stealing ability, which doesn't add much to his ranged power grabbing, but would be useful in disabling a foe. He really needs to do an inventory. I also don't buy Adam disintegrating without his healing power. Seems the Haitian would just have to show up and he's dust. At least the symbol appearing on Nikki's shoulder makes sense, as a "made" mutie. Any other places it showed up that would indicate a made versus natural hero? I guess Pinehearst got their symbol from Adam? |

I'm assuming the fear of Arthur comes from his being the head of Pinehearst, and the power that such a position commands.

If Adam's power is taken away, he can't regenerate, so he's going to be like 1000 years old after being in tha coffin for so long. If you're 1000 years old, you're dead haha. |

I agree with you guys. I think Arthur is like Rogue from the X-Men. He can steal your powers with touch, but if he holds on too long he'll kill you.

Great suggestions, but why are people so hung up on standalone episodes?!! For a show like this, they are a death wish.
I guess it just reinforces that people want too much instant gratification instead of having to wait. |

I think there should be a limit set on some people's powers, especially Peters. Like if he absorbs too many powers, he loses control over them or there are side effects to them. That will also require another component which is learning how to stop absorbing abilities, which I don't think is an option for him. I hate to draw a manga reference, but a lot of times Heroes reminds me of Naruto. Started off really strong, then kept introducing too many characters, and the original protagonists' powers kept evolving, sometimes inexplicably. However, there were limits to their powers and I think that's what keeps it from spinning out of control (although the recent chapters beg to differ). |

He has not been around the Haitian or if he has the Haitian was not using his powers. When he was locked up it was in what looked like a medical wing

He used to have a limit (BOOM!), but they're hand-waving the contradictions away again. Only reason he went BOOM was because he didn't know how to control his abilities. Peter is pretty much past that point.

Again, makes no sense. He can't control his powers, blows up, gets his mind wiped, still retains all those powers, but now with even less control over them
as he's forgotten he's even got them, keeps adding more powers on top of those, and doesn't exhibit any overload issues. Then he gets his memories
back and suddenly he can control them? Not buying it.
