Still can't believe they didn't ask her to be on All Stars.

She was entertaining compared to the others in Thailand but wasn't so interesting compared to everybody else

I think she was one of the next to be contacted for All Stars...why in god's name couldn't Amber have said no!? That would have saved the world from so much travesty

Really, I still don't understand it because she is easily one of the top 9 most likable/entertaining females from pre ASS (towards the general public at least, almost everyone was rooting for her). I, personally, think she's even higher than that, and I still have no idea how she missed the cut. The only somewhat logical explanation is that the producers only wanted three older woman, and Sue, Tina, and Kathy were all must haves which I can kind of understand. If any of them said no, I would guarrentee that she would have been asked, so the saddest thing is that Amber didn't even take her spot. Still, it's ridiculous that she missed the cut for some stupid quota (if my theory is right, which it has to be unless she was offered and then declined) when there were 5 guys who were 40+.

The final juror to speak is Helen, who has by far the most infamous speech of the night. "We spent 37 days together," she began. "And I had my mind made up week 2 who I was going to vote for. But that got ripped right out of my mind the night I left here. I asked you, Brian, point-blank, if I was going. Because you and I had that thing going. We had that trust that we'd give the other person the courtesy of telling them. But you and Clay told me Jan was going, and Jan appeared to be really upset that day. And I went to both of you and said, 'You know what? I think she deserves to know that she's going.' And you both looked right at me, and said 'Don't. Leave her alone. You know she's going. Why make her miserable?' Knowing full well that you had turned the tables on me. You promised me it was us three going to the threesome," a poor choice of words along the lines of Tobias Funke's "I blue myself." The anger in Helen's voice intensified with each word. "But neither one of you were man enough to tell me. Clay, it doesn't surprise me from you. You lived up to exactly what I thought you were the whole time out there. But Brian? Felt like I was living the Julius Caesar play. I wanted to turn around and say, 'Et tu, Brutus?'" Then comes the winning quote that sends laughter through the jury. "You are the epitome of the trashy used car salesman. And I have to tell ya, it really hurt. You duped me, you made a fool of me, you strung me along, and you let me sit here, and get stunned. So, now is your opportunity to tell me why you didn't give me the decency, after all that time, to tell me, and then follow up with why I should vote for you." Brian told Helen about how Jan informed him of a pecking order written in the sand by Helen and Ted two days before Helen got the boot. "I felt just as betrayed as you did, at the time," he said. And the rest of his response is textbook Chris Daugherty, talking about hurt feelings and bruised friendships.

But Helen wasn't buying it. "I told you Brian, that if I ever changed my mind, that I would tell you first. I never came to tell you that, because I never changed my mind," wagging her finger Alicia Calaway-style. She continued to demand an answer for why she was blindsided. Brian again insisted on the "Jan told me about the pecking order" story, and Helen started waving her finger around even more, repeating the word "Hearsay!" which is ironic considering that the only reason for Ted's question to Clay was hearsay from Helen. Brian continued to make his point, and Helen continued to interrupt him with cries of "Hearsay!" to the point where Jeff Probst told her to give Brian a chance to answer. His reason why she should vote for him was even more Daugherty-style schmoozing. "A period of 38, 37 days together, I made one mistake with you, I didn't tell you you were going that night, and I apologize. I take full responsibility for that. I felt that you were powerful enough to get me the following day. That's how I felt, and I apologize." Helen stood there, pondering what Brian just said, before sarcastically telling him, "It's a little late now." She then turns to Clay, asking him to name three—"if you can name three"—things he did to contribute to the survival of eight people on the island. Clay answered, "I did stuff every day. I did a little bit every day. That's all I've got to say." Well, it's three sentences at least.

Helen stared in disbelief, repeating her question before Clay interrupted her by accurately pointing out, "There's no one in the world who can satisfy your answers…so why try?" Ironically, Helen declared that she was satisfied and sat down.
