Does anyone know how much time all teams spent on their air journey in this leg?
And could it have been the longest leg ever in terms of air travel?

TAR13-4:La Paz to Auckland - could it be the longest single-leg trip ever? |

In one of the videos on CBS.com, Kelly/Christy were taped eating a freebie meal in Chile (Santiago?). I did a search on the web to find out how exactly one
would go from La Paz to Auckland - on AA, it involved flights to VVI IViru Viru Internacional, in Santa Cruz, the largest aeropuerto in Bolivia), MIA, LAX, and
then finally AKL.

No, in TAR10 teams needed to fly from Kuwait to Mauritius with connections from Dubai to London to Mauritius. That was the longest flight ever.

There's also Palawan, Philippines to Calgary on TAR5. What made it long was Northwest's two stopovers from Japan to Detroit.

Well, still it was at least in the top 3 of the longest legs, I guess.
It'd be funny if they went through LAX before hitting the transpacific flight. |

Are there no direct flights at all from South America to Oceana or Asia? Must they always go thru the US to get to such places?
