Well, I was a little ho hum on this epsisode not because they were in Hong Kong. I love the place and go to the Ladies Market which can get real crowded.
Instead of looking for the matching handbag maybe they could have sold stuff like the vendors. I did get a hoot from the dude who yelled at Ida "what do
you want!," and she was cool, calm and collected. Love her! The Fortune cookie task was fun if you like reading it. Biting into 300 cookies is something
else. Again the product placement makes an appearance. I mean come on! The Philippines has a lot Caltex gas stations and Nokia phones already! Singha? Never
mind.

Geoff maybe a fag, like Henry, but boy is he funny. I was laughing like hell when he started reading the fortune cookie with that accent. He should have used
that accent throughout the whole leg while talkin' to the locals. It would have made it easier for them to communicate and ask directions. I usually talk
that way when talkin to Chinese and they seem to understand me clearer. And I am not being racist here.. I am telling you there is something about that
accent...Anyway this thread is starting to become like a San Francisco bath house...You know, gay. I am beginning to think that posters here are required to

I dind't mind this episode. What it lacked in race excitement and cool tasks it made up with the antics of the teams. I didn't mind Geoff. People are
much too quick to call use the word racist nowadays. It was kinda funny, especially the first time.
But there were some hilarious moments, like Bernie and the handbag. Ida/Tania with their antics (the Allan Wu pamphlet, the rugby players, "HOT WATER, HOT WATER", and when they were reading the fortune cookies. Even more funny was when they got their clue and Tania was reading it to the camera, Ida was greedily muching on the cookies (it was just a funny image). Also, A.D and Fuzzie with their "amble", and what was with A.D/Fuzzie laughing at the "who's got an eye for the ladies?" roadblock question? Is it what I think it means? |

I like Geoff actually. They're my favourite team. I like that he's so passionate and actually learing to tweak his behaviour to his GF speciifcally. I
didn't find it racist at all. Where's the original poster's hate for the other teams who also did the accent?

guarantee 100% personality improvement.
Anyway, I'm not liking either TAR Asia 3 or the current TAR. TAR Asia is currently losing its watchability due to its poor planning from two episodes ago with the Fast Forward and needle-in-a-haystack challenges. And TAR 13 isn't engaging purely because TAR itself kind of getting boring, although that's just my opinion. |
