My real name has been that a Big Brother contestant once, and he was an assh&le, so I might hesitate to use that name--I guess I could go by
"Francois", except I would rather not have everything I've ever written on here pulled out again and used against me. ;-)
So, I guess I'd have to go by "Popcorn" or "Pokey" or something. |

I like my real name, but it's also one of those gender-neutral names (like Leslie or Lynn), and since I'm a dude I know that would lead to a
disproportionate amount of flaming.
So I'd probably go by my middle name. I hate it but at least it's unambiguously masculine. At the same time, all my family and friends back home would probably think it's weird rooting for me under a different name. |

Well my real name is James, but I've gone by Jay ever since I was born. I don't know what my parents were thinking naming me James, but calling me Jay
before I was born.... so anyways I would go by Jay.... which is kind of like my real name since I've never gone by anything else.

So there has been ONE Andrew in the whole history of Survivor, but he didn't even go by Andy!! WTF? Andrew is like the most common name in America.
They've gotta cast me next season.
Bleh. When I read this thread I thought it was going to be whether or not you root for a Survivor because they share your name. All I got was boring Pearl Islands Andrew... zzzzz. |
