Well I don't think she is held there against her will so I'm pretty sure she went to the castings. It's not surprising, there are all kind of people going to those castings so I guess the producers thought that she would be an interesting character and how everyone will react to her, her clothing and her prayers 5 times a day.
BTW, she is born in Bulgaria but she is an ethnic Turkish and as far as I understood her family lives in Turkey.

Most of the people in the show although they look like ordinary people are not in fact so ordinary. They have been carefully chosen by the producers and the
psychologists of the show. You can notice that almost all of them belong to some kind of a minority or have some interesting past.

Sounds like he is more uncomfortable than they are. Interesting. As for Samie's look that's exactly how old people who live in remote mountain muslim villages in Bulgaria look like. I agree that those are big problems, but I still don't think it's right that the other people have to live with a skinhead if they want to play the game. There are other ways to teach tolerance and shine the light on racism without putting skinheads on a reality game show where they can potentially win a big prize. It's just kind of gross. The everyday racists that end up on these kinds of reality shows are bad enough without adding in extremists. But I have never been to Bulgaria, I don't know what your country's history has been with confronting racism/xenophobia. Maybe if I were Bulgarian I would see it in a different way - who knows? |

As for the history of Bulgaria, we have never had any form of slavery or racist and discriminatory laws in our history and racism wasn't really a big problem until recently when an extremist party won votes on the last elections and got into the parliament. That was a great shock for everybody, but silencing and banning them is not the way to fight them. You have to let them talk and reveal themselves, just like Petar who is already on the losing side. |

What about religious zealots, do you think they should be allowed to take part of the show? Last season there was one such guy in the
show with a bible in his hand cursing everyone and everything. He was pretty aggressive too, the housemates almost physically fought with him. He didn't
last for long though, after a week or so he wanted to leave himself that "show of the Satan" as he called it.

It would be fine with me if there were no religious zealots on reality shows. They are obnoxious and/or boring, and yes they can be just as dangerous as

There are speculations that she is moved to the plane with the other guys. She also recently got divorced ( her ex husband gave a very scandalous interview a
few days ago) and she will be in court soon to appeal for child custody. ( I think that's how it's called?) She has an absolutely adorable 3.5 y.o.
daughter. So I guess we will see that too. And the drama continues with full power...

So brilliant, I can't wait to hear the backstory with these two. I hope Irena isn't booted, i'm starting to like her. She's a lovable underdog. Daniela on the other hand is getting a OTTN edit now
