I agree with the above. Fans bought into the legends of Hatch, Rudy, and Tina and all that was dispelled withing the first quarter of the game in All-stars
while the "undeserving" players went on to dominate the game. The game involves so much luck that sometimes I wonder if you really need all that
much skill or if it's just a glorified crapshoot and we're just imagining that the people who do well or come up with fancy strategies are "good
players"

You can't just act like T-Bird's vote for Lex was due to strategy. She just told Clarence that she wouldn't vote for him if he dropped his arm, and
that was that. Der.

Teresa was AMAZING. Her vote for Lex was an amazing decision, and could have paid off |

The fact that she made sure no one knew she was the one who voted for him was truly amazing.

Teresa probably makes it so high because she was the first underdog ever, and probably the most memorable because of that. I agree also, that as much as I hate
Ozzy (I liked him before Micronesia, actually), he does deserve to be on this list. Even though his social & strategic games were awful, his physical game
is probably the best out of anyone, and that deserves at least a spot in the top 40.
Also, I think that players like Julie should actually be higher. She was a perfect balance of all 3 of those elements, she had a good social game, a good strategy game (her lie to Twila was one of my favorite strategical moments ever), and a good physical game. She wasn't amazing at any of those, but when you think of a good well-rounded player, Julie's one of the top picks. Same with Tom W., Parvati, Natalie, Yul, etc. |

Marcus would be MORE popular if he was a nerd, and Cirie would be LESS respected overall is she looked like Jenna or Parvati. You're completely ignoring the fact that a big reason why Cirie gets the respect she does is because she was a fat coach potato before coming on the show. There wasn't any expectations there going in. If Cirie looked like Beyonce would she be as respected? Probably not. But thats deserved. Being attractive gives you a built in advantage in life and in Survivor, whether you want to admit it or not. The fact that she made sure no one knew she was the one who voted for him was truly amazing. Its not that hard to hide a vote when there's ten people in the game and someone is leaving by a huge margin. Keep your mouth shut, and blame it on someone else every chance you get. Not that difficult. At F5 or F6? Yes, difficult. Not at F10 when someone's leaving by a big margin. ETA: This list has lost all credibility with those latest rankings. Danni remains to this day the only winner in Survivor history to succesfully topple the ruling alliance by using the heads of the alliance to destroy themselves rather than those on the bottom of the totem pole. She deserves a lot more respect than 26th. Certainly deserves to be higher than Rafe, who she completely duped into destroying his game to keep her around.

Amber better than Danni?
Yeah, this list SO isn't based on people's favorites. |

Borneo - 1 (Richard)*vomits at late-season biases* People who NEED to be eliminated soon: Sandra, Amber, Rob, Tom, Rafe, Cirie (very bad EI game), Yul, Earl, Cassandra, Yau-Man, Peih-Gee. |

Okay, I like Peih-Gee and Sandra, but to rank EITHER of them ahead of Danni is outright wrong. Danni is easily the best winner we've ever had.

Ok, I'm far from a Danni fan, and I think her game had some awful flaws, but to rank her below half the people on this list is ridiculous.

For the record, Vecepia/Amber/Twila/Danni/Rafe are the only people on the list from S1-S11 that weren't inducted into our Hall of Fame. Important to keep
in mind when considering biases. Twila did alright her first time around and then was pulled off the ballot after the second election, I believe, by receiving
under 25%. I probably should clarify that. Rafe had somewhere around 50% in the last election and Danni (along with Bobby Jon) missed induction by one vote in
our sixth bi-annual election. Amber/Vecepia had such poor support here that they never made it to a second ballot, so respect for their game must have gone up
in the last few years because they certainly aren't fan favorites.

So 9 of the Top 25 are non-whites.
When only 12 of 80 non-whites were included in the poll. And the only non-white to come up in the last 25 spots is Ozzy (whose #42 is pretty favorable compared to Terry's #61) You could make a good case for 8 of those 9, but Cassie being boosted so high suggests a certain bias. Please, someone post a picture of Piers Morgan. |

Danni and Steph are right next to each other? Jeez...I don't know if Danni is the best player ever, but without a doubt she deserves the top 10 at
worst. How she lost to some people left is beyond me.

She's Super-Cassandra! One of the best 2 runners up of all time!.
Too bad Colby, Steph, Ozzy, and Amanda couldn't be more like her, or their season would be awesome just like Survivor Fiji. And Danni was so much more boring than Cassanda, and couldn't match her prowess as an underdog. So Cassie > Danni too. And don't get me started on aras, he denied Goddess Cirie her rightful victory with that F4 IC win, so he gets #34. |
