I expected so much more from Madam after "Closer" but she totally tanked.

I knew whoever sang "Dancing Queen" would be eliminated. I'm not actually surprised that Chrislyn was in the bottom 3 but I am surprised that Roshani was there because I thought she gave the best performance by a mile (though, so did Brooke... so I guess I shouldn't be surprised...).

K, my review of epic proportions:

1. Chrislyn - Her worst performance so far. That said, it wasn't that bad. It just wasn't special. It all seemed a little too staged, too.

2. Sophie - This was probably her best performance. I do think she's growing and getting better, but she started out so badly that she could only go up. Ok, so I thought this was a decent vocal, though very whiny sounding in places. She didn't seem to be as nervous this week either. Good for her.

3. Thanh - Ok... I hated this... I'm usually the one in this thread that actually liked Thanh, but I thought this was just really bad. The low parts were ok, but the high notes were strained strained strained! And he pronounced the words weirdly and that got on my nerves.

4. Roshani - Wow, she really took the judges' advice! She was smokin hot! I just loved this performance! The vocal was smooth in some parts and gritty in other parts and it made for a great combo! She really worked the stage, too! Roshani haters really should give her props for this one.

5. Wes - It was a good performance. I just didn't think it stood out very much. No one's gonna remember this performance when they think about Wes down the line.

6. Mark - Terrible. He still has no idea how to maneuver around the stage. The word flubs were pretty noticable and I thought he sucked the words that he did get. This was just all-around bad bad bad.

7. Madam - The first thing I thought to myself after this performance was over was "Madam has given up." She just took a huge shit on stage. She has really disappointed me on this show. I expected much more from her after her "Closer" performance. Such a shame.

8. Teale - LAME. This guy has no star quality at all. This definitely is the worst Abba song. I hate it. I hated this performance, too. Boring.

9. Luke - Ugh, pimp spot? It was actually probably his best performance.... I didn't really pay much attention to him this week though.

My personal overall ranking:
1. Roshani (she has really surprised me... I thought she would tank and Madam would soar...)
2. Chrislyn (WATCH OUT FOR THE BIG GIRRRRRL)
3. Wes (the most consistent)
4. Mark (I like his voice... this week was a step down though)
5. Thanh (has potential but needs a lot of work)
6. Sophie ( I don't hate her as much as I used to, but she is very borderline hate/dislike/m'eh for me now)
7. Teale (He's ugly and a bore)
8. Luke (a joke... this year's "WTF third place?!?!" person)
