Can someone find that pic someone posted a while back of the bottom left and right ones where Stephenie weighs about 1000 pounds? Its what she'll look like a few years from now once her metabolism slows down. :P |

For the record, the list is pretty unpredictable and will have plenty of shocking moments. I think the five that showed up now were amongst the worst in the
Top 40. Once we get into the Top 30, this shit gets crazy.

Julie deserves to be on the list because A. early on she was doubly screwed when Eliza, and then Lisa flipped on her alliance, essentially putting her and
Eliza against the rest of the women. Then Julie was put into a female minority on Lopevi and she first managed to work her magic on the guys to keep her over
John K., then she worked her stuff on Twila, lying and telling her that the guys had alliances with both of them, thus ensuring that Twila would stick with the
women, rather than forcing a tie at the merge. From there, Julie went from being an outcast to being in tight with Ami and Leann, the leaders of the tribe, to
the point where they ruined their games by telling Scout that Julie had replaced her. Julie played under-the-radar, but she was a great player, and I stand by
my opinion that Vanuatu had the most competitive final 6 of all time.
ETA: Also, I'm not 100% sure of this, but Julie probably would've been in the final 4 had Eliza not won immunity. |

He needed to leave because there was no way he'd stick to the fat five after what happened pre switch. Twila was sticking with Scout no matter what, so that was not Julie's doing. Yes, she did work her way into a final 4 alliance (that happened to collapse the same round because she was apart of it), but even if it worked out, she was the fourth wheel. Even if Ami, Leann, and her joined together to oust Scout and Twila then she's still going to finish third. She was the 7th best player of the final 7, and that should not put her in the top 40. Vanuatu had a competitve final 6, but it's not because of Julie. |

Anyways, Steph should not be in here for either season, IMO. In Palau, she outlasted her whole tribe, but it was her poor judgment in lobbying for Jolanda to go over Angie that probably caused there tribe to lose so much. Ulong was never a team, they were a bunch of individuals, and Steph was just the one who lasted the longest because she was a force in challenges, and most of the others were quitters/borderline retarded. I probably would include Julie just because she got dealt a really shitty hand and got pretty far, same with Peih Gee. And I don't know why we're counting certain players twice in a list of the top 40 players, though if we are, Parvati should absolutely NOT be here for CI. |

Julie was the Charlie Brown of Vanuatu whose strategy was always getting negated by Eliza.
She lost challenge after challenge to Eliza and Ami. If she'd been kept at F5 it was only be because she's weaker. Postmerge Julie wanted to supplant Eliza's "in" with Ami\Leann, and she wanted to be friends with Chris and protect him. These were incompatible strategies. Her getting in with Leann freaked out Twout and made them plot powershift. Chris would NEVER work with Ami\Leann because he realized they were the power he had to take down. So Julie persuades Dolly to vote with the young, only to have Eliza boot her. She becomes BFF with Leann (who she was willing to boot ep.1), only to have Chris and Twout save Eliza and boot Leann. She deserved what she got from Chris at F5. If you wanna pay a girlpower game be friends with Eliza (or Twout). Don't keep the guy you betrayed. Julie is worse than all of #36-40 |

I bet the next 5 will come from among:
Teresa, Twila, Julie, Steph, Candice, Cassie, Amanda, PG |

The thing about Julie is that she was dealt a really shitty hand, and she just had to make the best of it. She was in control of the young girls' alliance
on Yasur, and it only failed because Dolly was retarded and Ami took advantage of that. Even though she was in the minority on Yasur after the first TC, she
flew under the radar and let Mia take the fall when Lisa fucked them over (and we all saw just how well that worked out for Lisa).
Then she got in the minority again as a result of a swap, but she still managed to work with Twila by lying to her, which eventually convinced Twila to flip back to the women (and the fact that she managed to get Twila to reveal her alliance to her is also impressive). While on Lopevi, though, Julie used every ASSet she had to connect with the men, and she did form a good bond with Chris, who was the one making all of the decisions on Lopevi. So I give her credit for making them boot John over her. After the merge, she still had a good bond with Chris, and she probably figured he could be a jury vote, so why throw that away. But she got close to the people in power, and Leann promised her F4 on their reward. So it was definitely good getting Leann to replace her with Scout after Scout was with Leann the last two weeks and Leann had no clue what deals Julie was involved in. After the big power shift, Julie was pretty much fucked. The fact that she had a good bond with Chris may have saved her from being booted over Ami/Leann, but I seriously doubt that. The last thing she was able to do was convince Eliza to side with her, but that didn't really work out too well. Overall, Julie did what she could, and she got pretty far. Of course she could have done more, like getting out Chris at the F5, which likely would have resulted in her winning. And FWIW, from what I've heard, she would have slaughtered anyone in a jury vote. She's far from the best, but I'd definitely say top 40. |

Are we getting any write-ups or just stats?Nah, in the interest of saving time I won't be doing any sort of write-ups. I'll let the discussion emerge naturally whenever anyone decides to jump in and start yelling. Surprisingly, most of the discussion concerns people that haven't showed up yet, so it must be getting on people's nerves that certain individuals are higher than #36. Plus, the five I listed weren't that great and were pretty obvious choices for "weakest" amongst these 40, hence why nobody cares. |

Stephenie Kelly Amber Amanda Ethan |

I'll give Steph credit for being able to dominate the game so much, even if she managed to kill all chances of winning. And Amber deserves to be on the
list just for being a winner (just like a certain snub from another SSS list). And Kelly, cut her some slack. She played in the first season, and even by
today's standards, Richard isn't that great. Kelly still almost won and probably would've won if Greg hadn't won the merge immunity challenge.

Amber awon her season and against a clique who had pre show alliances she deserves to be ranked above every non winner and ahead of a few winners.

Amber rode that alliance to the end and capitalized by not actually having been involved. Total fluke victory that led to way too many pathetic female players in recent years. |
