Amanda, on the other hand, did not use flirting as a weapon (not in China, at least) and she got to the end of the game by doing this little thing called playing the game. I already agree with you on Amanda so it's not like I'm trying to make her look bad at all but bashing Parvati's game is just stupid You want me to name a strategic move Parvati made? I'll name several: She made an alliance with Brad, Nate, and Adam on New Raro. She especially got Nate on her side stealing him from his original Hiki tribe to become her main ally. She was included on the temporary female alliance that got JP booted which got rid of the male alliance. Nate did not want to get rid of JP at that point so she was no follower to him at all. I doubt Brad was totally for that either so it was probably Adam and Parvati who made that coup possible. Parvati was close to Jenny it's just that she voted to keep Jonathan because he mutinied and it seemed like there'd be no way he'd ever re-join with Aitu or that they'd accept him back. At the time they weren't sure if there'd be a merge yet or not so they decided to keep Jonathan for his strength. It ended up being a bad strategic move but she was trying to think logically not based on who she got along with better. It ended up being a bad move but the reasoning behind wanting to vote for Yul was strategic. Jonathan and Yul were getting closer again, so they wanted to break up that pairing. Yul was a smart threat, but also Nate wanted to keep Ozzy on the side as an ally, and Parvati needed Nate just in case to deal with the Adam and Candice alliance. So going after Yul first would make sure they could keep the upper hand on Adam and Candice. She got far because she was a great social player just like on Micronesia and did make strategic moves to make her the center of the tribe. She was never in any danger until the merge and the power changed. How was she playing for 3rd place when she had Candice and Adam on one side of her and Nate on another? She totally had a chance of winning which is why the Aitu 4 voted her out before Adam even!

All she used were her boobs, while she let Candice and Adam control the whole tribe. Parvati used her social skills to position herself in the power position in pre-Mutiny Raro. She was the strongest girl and closest to Adam and Nate, and Jenny was her BFF. She was smart enough to side with Jenny to boot JP, who wanted an all-guy alliance which would have ruined her game. After that she was perfectly positioned and popular with everyone. So Parv the flirt was good at working with both guys and girls in S13. Amanda never got a jury vote from a girl. Raro had to compete with Ozzy and Yul. It's a lot easier to be on the majority when you have the strong smart guys, and the opposing leaders are Crazy Dave and Jaime. Yes, Parv should have been a more active strategist around the merge, but she didn't anticipate the bottle twist, and went along with Adam\Candice's wrong call to keep Jonathan (although her vote would have only forced a divisive 3-3 tie, unless she could change their minds). Since Adam and Candice made the call to keep Jonathan, I blame THEM much more than Parv for Raro losing control of him and alienating him at the merge. Adam and Candice went to exile, Candice was Jon's #1 ally for weeks, she knew all about Jonathan's friendship with Yul. Yet she couldn't prevent him from being a dumbass. Meanwhile Adam was letting on that he had the idol. And Nate was feeling alienated by the stupid Jenny boot and was working Ozzy for an alliance. Parvati was close to Jenny it's just that she voted to keep Jonathan because he mutinied and it seemed like there'd be no way he'd ever re-join with Aitu or that they'd accept him back. If they just did that, then Yul would have used his idol on Jonathan, which would work for Parv since he was on the outs (or maybe they get rid of Ozzy first because Adam won immunity at the F8). At this point, the Raros pretty much have it in the bag, and all they have to do is not implode. But with regard to the decision of booting Yul first, apparently it was Nate who insisted on it and the rest just followed him, which means that either A.) Parv isn't really controlling him; B.) Parv wanted to boot Yul; or C.) Both of the above. They really should have been able to put 2 and 2 together and realize that Yul had the idol and not vote for him. How was she playing for 3rd place when she had Candice and Adam on one side of her and Nate on another? She totally had a chance of winning which is why the Aitu 4 voted her out before Adam even! She was playing for third because who the hell knew there was a F3 twist? She didn't predict that. Adam and Candice were a twosome, and they wouldn't keep her over the other. So she basically had to win immunity. And at the F4, if Nate wins immunity then she's gone. All of this, though, is assuming that Parv, Nate, Candice and Adam are the F4. And she had zero chance of winning even with the Aitu 4 takeover. She was only voted out before Adam because she could flirt, and in a cast of retard mactors (and Yul) that works sometimes. But still, Ozzy was not stupid enough to flip. No one would be. She never had a shot of winning and got dragged to the end because of her boobs and because she was morel likeable than people like Christina. Micronesia, though, is a different story. I still didn't like her, but she played a million times better.

It's quite possible that JP would have made no difference (I'm not entirely sure, but let's assume you're right). Still though, Parv has no way to know that before. Common sense would tell you that a weak girl who wants to quit would be less helpful than a strong guy, who may be a little cocky, but is still a force in the challenges. In the early tribal phase, when winning challenges is what's important (and it's not like Parvati was in any danger of getting booted anyways, actually she was one of the swing votes on this boot), there's no reason to boot someone like JP and keep Stephannie. Regarding numbers, just because JP wanted an all male alliance didn't mean he would get one. Adam and Brad were willing to vote for him, and I doubt they would go along with him and leave all of the girls out of it. To be honest, I can't tell you where I remember this from. I think I heard about it a while ago somewhere in LTS. I know that Jenny and Parv are good friends now, but relationships after the game don't necessarily signify what goes on in it (a classic example being Amanda, who was very close with James after the game, but not Todd). Either way, though, it was still stupid to boot Jenny. Parvati had the power to force a tie and save Jenny, which would have resulted in her doing a lot better than she did, but she missed the oppurtunity, and after that point there was only one thing she and her alliance could do--to vote for someone other than Yul at the merge. At this point in the game, only Candice, Jonathan, Adam, and Yul have been to exile. If they can figure out between them that C/J/A don't have it, then why would they vote for Yul knowing he must? With regard to Parvati, as I already said, it means either she's making bad decisions or she's not in control (or some kind of combination).

That was a bigger boner than voting off Jenny, but doesn't negate her other instances of good gameplay. Amanda booting Denise instead of Todd was a mistake too. And Natalie was a good player biut made the same mistake in regard to Amanda at F6 that Raro did about Yul (except Jonathan saw he had the idol and could have saved Raro if he hadn't been mindfucked by Yul). Probst and the editors loved Aitu 4, Yul, and Ozzy, and went out of their way to make Raro look dumb in editing (in a way they didn't with several other errors listed above). But I still don't see how booting JP over Stephannie would benefit anyone except Stephannie, herself (and maybe Rebecca, too). Parvati was in a decent position on Raro. Parvati clearly had some things going for her, but IMO she made many more screw ups than strong moves. Ami, OOTH, dominated for most of the game, and she only lost because she let Leann make a decision (and I'm sure we all agree Ami should NOT have let Leann do this). Amanda keeping Todd was definitely a mistake. There's a reason why sucks had an "Is Amanda the worst endgame player of all time?" thread, and I, for that matter, agree that she is. And Natalie, IMO, is really overrated, but she definitely had her good moments (Jason and Erik's respectful blindsides come to mind). At the same time, though, there's a reason she only came in fourth. In the top 40 thread I wrote a lot about my thoughts on Natalie, and I'm too lazy to repost everything We're obviously gonna have to agree to disagree on the matter of Parv's game play in CI. But I'll just say that you can definitely make someone look strategic who didn't win (Cirie, Rob C, Amanda, and others come to mind), and of course, Parv played very well in Microneisa, and while I think she was very lucky, there's no denying that she did what she needed to do with the circumstances, and we all know where it got her.

I think Parvati was ok in cook islands but not as good as micronesiamanda, that's just my opinion. I never said Parv was bad in cook islands because I actually think she was good, but i dont think she was top 40 material. If she hadn't owned micronesia then she would be nowhere near that list.

Ozzy and Amanda had a showmance, Parvati and Amanda were like BFFs and Amanda and James had a connection from playing in China together a few months earlier.

Early on she encouraged James to bond with Parvati to solidify the alliance. Apparently when Parv and James had their argument after the Ozzy boot, one point Parv made was that she worried she was 4th in the Couples alliance, and James though that was BS.

Ozzy would probably win the F4 immunity, meaning either James or Parvati would go home. Then at the F3, Ozzy or Amanda would probably win that challenge and whoever's remaining between Parvati/James would likely leave. We coulda had an Ozzy/Amanda F2... so everyone be thankful for the Parv/Amanda F2 =) Just that at least within the four clique, all of them would've brought Amanda to the finals, which proves that she would consistently go far in any season.

I think she should've known to take a speech class after China or something to help her went she went on Micronesia if there was time between the seasons. I forget... how long did she have between China and Micronesia? :/
