I love Gary Sinise but wasn't feeling another CSI and didn't have time for it. It's still on and won it's timeslot too. I watched the season premiere on Wed at 10 and it was good enough. CSI original is clearly the best but I think that NY has the most likeable characters of the 3 on TV...no one annoys me. CSI Miami I dropped last season b/c HoCaine went from being so ridiculous it was funny to just fucking annoying and Emily Proctor's hotness is just not enough to keep me tuning in anymore. Grim.

Loved that the bug guest stars in the opening weren't actually the big case of the episode, that was fun. I'll definitely keep watching. ETA: Also, I love the "He irks me. He's irksome" line. It cracked me up.

That would kick ass. I've already used it at work. Heh. No one noticed though so they thought I was HEE-LAR-IOUS. "Dugan? Who says irk anymore...you're so funny!" I'm excited for the next ep. Felicia you can watch the CSI NY eps on CBS.com as well. It's pretty much equal for me with the original CSI especially now that William Petersen is pretty much leaving the show. I like it much more than Miami because poor Horatio and those one liners he has to say all the time, but you are right Emily's hotness knows no bounds. She is kick ass. As for NY Gary Sinise is one of my favorite actors. I would kill to go see a Steppenwolfe production. What is up with Profiler? It keeps coming up in conversations in RL and the boards. I just started downloading the torrents to re-watch the series.

When the camera scanned over some of the things he was looking at, it kinda made sense to me how he came to his conclusions. That's one thing I liked about the show, WE got a glimpse of some of the stuff he was observing so it wasn't all like "how the fuck did he know that???". I can't say I understood all of his "guesses" but some of them, yeah. The husband and wife at the beginning, too easy to see they had issues.. then the pics of his daughter on his lap on the fridge and I immediately thought the dad was being a little too personal with a kid her age. Conclusion - he was probably abusing her and killed her to silence her. Some stuff there was no way to really know. I noticed he took a good look at that book in the dr's office but had no clue what it meant at that time. And dunno what I missed but how did he know the guy in the morgue was gay? Anyway, I was impressed and hope I'm not disappointed anytime soon. TD - Profiler was a really good show IMO. I love Ally Walker's deep husky voice. (since we're talking female actor hottness) I have seasons one and two on DVD, but need some funds to get the rest. I'm not gonna watch it online because once I start buying a series I like to get all the seasons. I'm anal. Welcome Cindi! <3

I remember that line from the promos for the show but I don't recall that scene actually being shown in the premiere, like perhaps it was cut or perhaps I just missed it.

LOL Aslanscubs: I have Excel spreadsheets listing what 2 shows are taping during each time slot -=- one sheet for the Tivo, one for the DVR. Thank god the kid can watch the eps of Blues Clues while I tape 2 shows/time..... ~~~~ Liked the show because there was enough caustic wit to make it interesting. Love the way PJ doesn't get discouraged by the doubting (and yes, ''he irks me'' was the best line). When he went to bed @ the end under the smiley face... reminded me of the character Adrian Pasdar played in that 2 ep show where he was all powerful but slept in the cardboard box.. what show was that? Anyway...kinda creepy, but it kept him grounded. To have a person lose his family in such a way & be able to function is nice to see -- would hate to see him be all whackadoo about it.
