It has come to my attention that some people are morphing my article on Gaywired. com into something negative. Normally I'd say "So what?!" I don't sit at home caring what haters who watch me on TV or read my writing think. I could not care less. By the time you watch or read it I've already gotten the check.

What I do care about is when my words are bastardized and purposely misconstrued. I in no way was slamming Janelle when I called her "the least deserving House Guest" for her performance during All-Stars.

I thought the money should have gone to Chicken George, the married father of three. Or Danielle, the married mother of two. That's how I would have voted. I didn't bring up anyone's game play or personality in my article. I didn't even use anyone's name. I have a right to my opinion. I think outside of the house and game that Janelle is a wonderful person. She's funny and open and staggeringly charismatic. These are probably the things that make her rabid fanbase still so crazed after all these years.

If my words hurt Janelle in anyway for that I am sorry. And why would Janelle care when she won the money? I certainly would not have mentioned the America's Choice Contest had I known it would have become an issue...Had I known it would be used to bash me and cause speculation about things that are simply put, no one's business.

As a writer my job is to get eyes on my articles. As an aside; please do not print my articles on websites in whole. Please print a few lines then link to them. I get paid because of the traffic that my articles bring to the sites that I am paid to report for. I am also covering the current season of America's Next Top Model for Edgeboston. com and may be covering Survivor: Gabon for Gaywired. com. I haven't decided yet.

And let me clear up somethings; I write about Big Brother because I am paid to. I can sit at home watch less than 3 hours of television and pay my rent by reporting on a show that I am a part of for better or worse. I go to the finale and cast parties because it's a great way to get together with old friends and maybe make new ones. I went to the finale this season because one of my closest friends asked me to get him in. Then he asked me to go with. I didn't want to go. But I realize it's a better experience for those I care about if I go with them in case there is a problem or introductions need to be made.

For all my snarkiness and disdain, I do love Big Brother. I love the show though it's brought me some unhappiness (usually from viewers writing nasty things about me). But along with that it's brought me money, notoriety and a lot of joy. What I say about me, my writing and TV persona is this; I'm a character. I mean no harm so just take it for what it is. I show up. I'm bitchy, funny, dramatic and oft times over-the-top. Love me or hate me I don't apologize for being me. I wish everyone loved me. I wish everyone got it. But at the end of the day all I care is that you watch me on TV or read my writing.

And to the haters: If I really annoy you that much, in the immortal words of my least favorite player in Big Brother history "Eat a dick." Now run and tell Mike that I was trashing him. So I can then send out another press release that explains the obvious. Let me just clear it up now; I didn't like Mike's game play. That doesn't however mean I dislike him as a person. Now apply that to my statement about Janelle. Get it? Don't hate the player. Hate the game. I've mastered that. Maybe the viewers that hate any player should do that as well...

And if you really hate me don't read anything I write. Don't type my name. Don't start inane threads about me at websites or on forums and don't reply to them. If you stop mentioning me that's the surest way to make me fade away. Hell that's what I do where Paris Hilton is concerned. Damn it! I mentioned her name again!
