I hope Audrey is okay. She was chained to the bank vault door and all...

Sherilyn said Audrey was slated to survive the explosion.

I would have predicted that Audrey would have survived the explosion.
I'm 3/4 rd's the way through the 'Gold Box' and loving it all. I really adore Leeland (the actor) he's amazing in every scene. Audrey is also great (the character and actress). It's so bizarre watching Laura Flynn-Boyle sp? as Donna ; playing a virgin when she's so trampy outside of acting. Still, I love her character and the 'Meals on Wheels' episodes. I also find the Major very dull and useless. Sadly, I worked with 'his wife', Sandy, at a special needs program. She used to tell me all about the 'cast gatherings' and who she liked etc... He's a Canadian actor and did many small parts. Sandy and 'Major' divorced, no surprise. My 'link' to the show. I wish it was James instead of the Major! ;) |

Just watched the pilot. Great stuff already. Can really tell the influence this has on shows now. Can't wait to get through the rest of this.

Well well well, what a show! I loved it. A great blind buy. I have to say I even did really like the episodes after the Laura Palmer case was solved. I could
tell why people abandoned it, there were just a ton of drawn out plots and some of it got a bit confusing. I assume they cut "Previously on Twin
Peaks" which is disappointing and probably would have let me follow the plot a little bit better (like the stuff with Josie or the stuff with the Renaut
Brothers). It will be great going through it again though and figuring stuff out I didn't the first time around.
I wish there was a spin off of Audrey, Donna, Shelly, and Nadine solving crimes. That would be excellent. And of course have Lucy and Andy in some comical side plots. Made me a huge Lynch fan, should I check out the Fire Walk With Me film? A roomie of mine has it here rented so I might as well. Knowing that it was the ending and seeing all the set ups for the next season pissed me off, but after reading through this I'm glad to get a bit of closure on if Pete, Ben, and Audrey survived. Of course I would have loved to see where they went with Bob now in Cooper and how that would have worked with Anna. Ray Wise was excellent and got better with every episode. Loved Windom Earle dressed up as the Log Lady as well. Loved all of Nadine's antics with thinking she was a teenager again. Wasn't to fond of James or his awful side plot with the Evelyn girl and the fixing of the car. Glad they took him out for the last few episodes. Didn't really like Audrey being with Billy Zane...I kind of liked it better when she was lusting after Cooper despite the age difference, damn you Kyle MacLachlan for screwing that up. Excellent show though, and it was very interesting seeing how this shaped modern television. |

Oh and the girl that played Shelly, was she in the awful Friends spin-off?

Glad you enjoyed!
No that wasn't Shelly in "Joey" thankfully. FWWM is definitely worth it. It was made for people who knew how the show worked so don't let that put you off. It actually makes you re-think Laura's death in an interesting way. |

However it is a bit disheartening hearing the cast members and some of the crew talk on the DVD on how much they hated the second season...I didn't think
it was bad at all. Sure there were a lot of new people going in and out (I still don't really know why Brenda Strong was trying to kill/sleep with Harry
Truman) and it was a bit confusing, but I still thought it was good.

Sue Ellen was trying to kill Harry under orders from Eckhardt. "Sexual Jealousy"
I didn't mind S2 at all. The Evelyn/James stuff was horrid but the Windom stuff was gold. I also loved the 1st 7 or so eps of it. |

Stargate SG-1's Don S. Davis Dead at 65
Stargate SG-1's Don S. Davis by Eike Schroter/Sci Fi Channel Photo
A family friend tells the Vancouver Sun that Davis - who called Gibsons, British Columbia, home - had dealt with heart problems for years, and suffered from diabetes. Davis leaves behind his wife of five years, Ruby, and a son from a previous marriage. Sad. At ease Major. |

I Just saw a few days I had the Chiller network... Twin Peaks just started(over? I dunno how long it's been on channel 336...). Decided to check it out,
on episode 3, this show is amazing and I don't even know what's going on, there are a lot of people... But it's quirky and interesting. I'm
gonna stick it out, should only take about 2 months to air the whole series. I know there's a prequel movie, is that on DVD or could I find it online? and
does anyone know why Lara Flynn Boyle wasn't there as Donna? I can't fine the behind the scenes story on that...

Movie's on DVD. Worth it. Lara didn't want to do the topless scene from the movie apparently. Ironic since she'd go topless later.

I completely forgot about my love of this show. Even reading the posts, I forget half the stuff that happened. I have to buy the box set. Bring on the Bob
nightmares again.

Just saw the big reveal... I thought the Ronette flashback was scary but that scene with Maddie was probably the most intense and frightening thing I have ever
seen in television.. My jaw hit the floor and I was in awe for like 5 minutes, even my BF stopped what he was doing to watch. Damn, I just can't get how
eerie it all is, totally getting complete series asap. Wow, just wow...
