This show doesn't have nearly as many "laugh out moments" as other previously mentioned shows, but it's funny and I'm glad it's on
TV.
Kaitlin Olson and Glenn Howerton rock. |

I think the reason why this show is so great is becase its on a smaller network that seems to give it's shows a wider girth. I think if it was on like NBC
you would have the network pushing guest stars and bigger names on it.

Even FX pushes things on them, they pushed Danny DeVito on them after the first season.
I think another reason last night's eps werent super funny is the pairings they put them in, Charlie/Dee & Dennis/Mac in the first one and Charlie/Mac/Dennis & Frank/Dee in the second. This show is at its funniest when its Mac/Charlie & Dennis/Dee with Frank going back and forth between the two. |

Yeah, but isn't the cast like really good friends with Danny? And, IMO, he adds a lot to the show.

I'm sure they are really good friends with him now, they weren't before he joined the cast though. I really didnt like his addition in season 2, but he
has really grown on me.

Charlie and Dee were amazing trying to sell the cocaine last season though and cutting it with like a whole bag of flour... They're probably my favorite
pairing actually

Since the "this show is still better than most tv comedies" argument was brought up, I'll roll with that real quick. I prefer based on their most
recent seasons...
1. 30 Rock 2. The Office 3. The Simpsons 4. King Of The Hill So, I guess It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia would take fifth place, about on-par with the "no-longer funny but regaining its feet" Entourage, the shouldbedead Scrubs and the occasionally brilliant but usually muddled new installments of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Flight Of The Conchords is practically unrankable given the quality variations from episode-to-episode. That particular show can be the best or the worst of the bunch. South Park has absolutely sucked for about the last four years, getting by only through the "Wow they did an episode on ______" hype. Really, the four I listed are the only ones I can watch without having pains and remembering the better days although The Simpsons & King Of The Hill have both had truly awful seasons at various points in this decade. I do agree with the sentiment that television comedy is drying up awfully fast despite having a huge boon about two or three years ago. Now, it's pretty much a completely downhill medium with no new good shows popping up, just remnant dinosaurs walking towards the cliff of extinction. |

Bump.
Not too impressed with either episode but I adored Charlie trying to hide Green Man's hands in his pocket and Frank's billboard not even having anything written on it. |

The first episode, IMO, was just plain not good. It didn't even have all that many great moments. The second one was OK.

The first episode was pretty mediocre. I enjoyed the second one though.

Upon second watch, I really enjoyed the second one. Dennis usually isn't my favorite character, but he rocked in that one.

I just got though watching last week's eps, and having no Dee in the second episode is an automatic fail.
Hopefully having Mac's dad back next week will be funny. |

I thought that was an awesome episode. From the hobo sticks, to to the car crash, suicide pact, wedding dress, charlie doll, glory hole, etc.

Best ep of the season so far. This season, I'm refusing to read episode titles ahead of time. So much funnier when that title card pops up, and it really
paid off tonight. Loved Dennis's European roommate, What's the password? Ooooorrrrrrrrgggggggyyyyyyyyy.
Seems they're 'bringing up a lot of running jokes from last season, like Green Man and the duster jacket. I think those gags have been kind of falling flat. |

There was some gut-busting funny stuff last night. And a full hourlong episode nontheless.
I think it is kinda weird that Mac and Dee got married last weekend. For real. |

Great episode! Even the sight of the grenade exploding in the car with a little poof, a brief jump, and a horn honk, cracked me up. And when Mac opened
the door and shoved Dee away by the face, and grabbed her keys. |
