Wish I had come here to read before wasting my time watching it. The commercials made the show sound interesting. But the episode was horrible. Talk about
overacting. I loved JK in Malcolm, but her character in this POS was was cartoonish.

Mark Paul Gossaeler looked like a Caveman from a Geico commercial. His acting is really poor. As is most of the acting on this show.

Damn. I wanted to catch this for J. August Richards.
Is it really horrible? |

Episode 2 is making a good case for this being an engaging, solid, intelligent show. MPGs hair is still a problem, along with his generally disheveled look,
including having a loosened tie and open shirt collar in court-give me a break!

I ended up watching episode 2...and if I can convince myself to put reality aside and just enjoy the sleazeiness, it's not too bad.
It certainly was hilarious that the queen in the leather suit showed up at the courthouse later that evening and no one batted an eye! |

Episode 2 took a huge step in the right direction. I enjoyed the premiere but the follow-up was stronger in just about every area.
Personally, although all the MPG/JK scenes have been a slight bit of a stretch, they have also been very dynamic, angsty and intense.

I wasn't going to watch this episode but knowing that WALLACE is in it is enough for me to give this show another try.
<3 Wallace. |

Sorry, I saw none of this "improvement" of which you all speak. Each character has one point of view, one note, and one facial expression.
Period.

Week three, and the prosecutors are all vindictive assholes out to get people, and the public defenders have no guilty clients. Why am I not surprised.

I never watch Desperate Housewives so knew it wasn't from that... as I still like MPG I will continue to watch.. they seemed to have tampered down the judge and every show I've seen before shows the huge case load the Public Defenders have and these only seem to have one at a time
