I actually watched and somewhat enjoyed seasons 8 and 9 after being mightily disappointed by All Stars but Dan especially (Memphis, too, but mostly Dan) haver reminded me what I love about the strategy and love of the game. I could tongue kiss Dan's blog because it's so on point and the attitude is exactly what I want from a player. I felt All Stars was the biggest mistake BB ever made. It SUCKED (especially since I didn't consider many of them to be fan favorites).

Brian and Steven said pretty much the same thing in their chat tonight, that Dan's game is just too complicated for these people to comprehend. They don't think Dan has any chance to win with this Jury. I think they're wrong. But, honestly, I'll be fine with a Memphis win, and I think Dan would be, too. $70,000 for what he has seen as an incredible summer to remember? Still, I really, really want to see him pull this off. I have loved this season, and I am really looking forward to listening to these two on the feeds in their final days, especially after the Jury questioning. X I NEVER look forward to the last 5 days of the feeds because usually the F2 is shit, but I'm really looking forward to it this time.

Wow.......just wow . It sure fits with him being the Golden Child with a soul and heart . He gets to the F2 without being cruel . He took a ton of ass whoopins and kept his kewl and grace . This BB goes in my book as being one of the best . I am looking forward to the F2 and the last days in the house cuz these guys play and do not take thierselves seriously . They will both explain things we want to know . These 2 Gamers ? make it worth waiting and slogging thru a bad BB or 2 . I love this game <3

Posts: 3421 (09/10/08 9:23 PM) More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I thought the season had potential, and sometimes delivered, but I agree with YoMama, Jerry just sucked the life out of everything, and he was so vile that the feeds were on mute a lot. I am glad Dan's at the end (I hope!) and I really hope he wins it. I think he has played a pretty damn good game, with one glaringly stupid HoH and POV ceremony. He really grew on me. I rooted for him in the beginning, because of the pagonging. He got on my nerves around the middle of the season, and then won me back. Besides, he's cute when he's asleep. Memphis? I just never liked the dude. Still don't. He doesn't have the charm to pull off the hustler shit, or to justify his massive ego. I would have preferred Keesha/Dan at the end, but not enough to really be put out by this turn of events. I didn't like Keesha earlier, but just as Dan did, she grew on me. Renny was a lovely surprise this season, and she kept thinks moving a bit. I don't think it was great because too many people had no fucking clue about the game, and/or didn't really play it. This should have been a cake walk for Dan, and luckily, it was. Memphis got lucky when Keesha saved his ass, and Dan was left with no other buddies to pal with.

She seems like someone who would hold that against him. I could see even Michelle doing that too to be honest. What gets me with Dan and Memphis is that they've dominated much of the important phase of this game both strategically and in comps, but you're still going to have people who say they only got to F2 (if they're F2) because they're guys, or because they lucked out. Or that none of that matters because this outcome is too predictable. They have planned out so much, and while they haven't been perfect, some of those plans that seemed ridiculous ended up paying huge dividends for them. That they managed to both survive Jerry's HOH after they were the two people he'd hurled abuse at for most of the game is still one of the most shocking things I've seen on BB. Not shocking as in someone throwing tea, but in strategy, which is what BB used to be all about.

Because the only reason it ever existed in the first place was so Allison and Arnold could tell the world, "Hey, we hate the Nerd Herd, too! And we LOVE the Sovs! So, here, let's watch them all over again!" I laughed when, after all they did to stack the deck in their favor by having virtually the entire alliance in the house (versus 1 or 2 people from the other seasons), not a single one of Janelle/Howie/James/Kaysar made it to the finals. Good. On an entertainment level, you are correct. It sucked.

Hell, they probably are still clueless that these two have been working together since the end of week 4. I wouldn't say nobody suspected, cause Renny did and Keesha did too. Now Jerry, him actually believing they aren't working together because of Dan nomming Memphis twice...that was really a good bit of end gaming. The staged fight wasn't a bad idea either. They fooled the person they needed to fool the most to move on in the game. I'll be happy with either Dan or Memphis winning, unless one of them does the stupid thing and takes Jerry. But over all, I'd say Dan had a harder time in the game than Memphis, simply because he had to get past being an ally of Brian, a Judas Goat x 2, a possible plant and the actual AP. The worst Memphis had thrown at him was Womanizer and the wrath of Keesha. So going by who had to work the hardest, I've got to give it up to Dan ftw. eta: I forgot to toss in there the veto roulette thing, but since that was a setback of Dan's own making, one that might actually cost him the whole game, maybe I was trying to block it out from my head.
