Dan has a better gift of gab and could spin it to say that he wanted to keep Keesha but had no choice, and had to adjust his strategy accordingly because Memphis had the power. There was no benefit to Dan in keeping Jerry. I thought Memphis had this in the bag a week ago. Now I'm not so sure. I wonder if Dan will tell Memphis about the island getaway and that he took Michelle and that he she told him that if Jerry is in the final 2 the Jury House would be voting for him.... It could be smart if Memphis is too dumb to remember he was counting on Michelle's vote. If he tells him, it puts Memphis in a "no-win" situation, and it's hard to tell what he would do then.

But there's definitely a chance he can get the 4 in Libra, Keesha, Renny, and Michelle. It might come down to speeches, but I've never seen the speeches as changing anything. You generally have your mind made up by the time you know the final 2.

I think Dan could answer that by saying that he realized that Memphis planned on evicting Keesha and he didn't try as hard as he could to stop him because he wanted to stay loyal to the Renegades and protect his F2 deal, but that Dan wanted Keesha to stay. He just couldn't talk Memphis out of it. At that point in the game, Dan had every reason to want Keesha to stay and Peeps to go. I believe it's true and it makes game logic which is something that Keesha realizes. So it can be explained even if that explanation doesn't wash with Keesha or if she's hurt that she didn't realize exactly what was going on. Memphis doesn't know that Dan threw that POV comp. Nobody else does either. Dan can claim that he tried to win it and if he had, he would have kept the nominations the same because he knew Keesha would have booted Jerry and he had a better shot going in with her at the F3. Memphis can't claim differently. But, yeah, he'll have to mea culpa all over the place about the Renegades alliance. I believe that a Dan/Memphis F2 will come down to jury performance to a large extent. Memphis is a grunter who doesn't always explain himself very well.

It's such a crapshoot. In a way it requires that everyone be really familiar with the evicted houseguests but even if you're best friends or blood-relatives with the person, there's still an element of guessing involved. Plus as a fan it's stressful to watch. I hate it.

Now the temptation of Memphis taking Keesha to final 2 over Dan is gone. He's pretty confident in his and Memphis abilities to beat Jerry in these final comps. And he knows neither one of them wants to risk losing to Jerry, of all people, in the finals.

But Im wondering if Dan can actually answer a question without asking a question. That type of performance can piss jurors off also. If it comes down to a Dan/Memphis final two I really have no idea who will come out on top. But as of right now I would probably put it at 55/45 in favor of Dan.
