Taylor's style of music is actually a style I think I would enjoy. Personally I like the sound of Taylor's voice and I liked a few of his performances on the show quite a bit. I just always liked McPhee better vocally. Plus what bothered me about Taylor was what bothered a lot of people, the gimmicks and the dancing and the Soul Patrol Whoo stuff. If that was really part of who he is than cool, I'm not out to change anyone, it just didn't appeal to me. Plus him being the winner was just all kinds of ridiculous, in retrospect Elliott probably should have won and Katharine would have been better off stuck with the shitty winner's contract (she was stuck with one anyway). She would have made a better face for the show if you get what I mean. Taylor obviously wasn't out to be AI's puppet.

I wish Elliott had come in second because I think he would have gone platinum with a major label behind him. He and Daughtry would have been the most kick ass final 2 ever. They sound great together dueting also. Kat should have left the night Daughtry did. It wouldn't have hurt her career at all.

If Katherine had won, she would have released the same album she did, had a flop with it, and been dumped by 19Evil. It wouldn't have been any different than what actually happened to her. . If Kevin Covais had won...uh, let's not go there.

He got signed by the machine anyway, he would have released the same album he did and possibly have been even more successful. Fortunately Daughtry didn't win though because he sounds like a fucking goat and if he had won Idol wouldn't still have been craving a rocker winner and we might never have been introduced to David Cook who is a million miles better than Daughtry.

Properly SEE them, not just reminders that she HAS them. So these pics are just okay--I've seen her looking much sexier in other shots. And she doesn't need 1/10 as much eyeshadow as she's using in the first photo.

Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Are people saying Daughtry should have won because he's been the most successful afterwards, or because THEY thought he was the best person in the top 4 during the season? That's two different questions. I am happy he put out a good album and has been successful, but I was also voting nonstop for the other 3 that night (well, Elliot and Katherine, anyway--I figured Taylor was safe and only threw a few votes his way) and was very happy when he was eliminated. I thought he seemed like a nasty person, was losing his voice, and was a bit of a phony because he'd taken credit for lifting other people's hard-rock arrangements of songs (ALL Idol rockers get accused of being phonies--it comes with the territory). So there may be some 20/20 hindsight going on here with this praise of Daughtry.

Doing well afterwards is great but for whatever reason on AI the public like someone else, or in this case 3 people better than you. Daughtry was and still is an arrogant asshat anyway. He didn`t deserve to win. He`s talked shit about the show as a non-winner, imagine having his as a representative of AI as the winner. He`d become even more bitter that he was ever on the show and in the end probably make even worse comments. He`s a douche, say what you want about Elliott, Katharine and Taylor being "failures" but at least they won't ever even 1/10th as vile as Daughtry is.

I'm a huge Elliotard so of course I think he deserved to win. It's just obvious to me that most of the media/world consider Daughtry to be the winner of that season. Daughtry's music may be vile but he really isn't. As far as I know he works hard, stayed with the wife, does alot of charity, isn't really that much of a douche. He hasn't done one thing post Idol that was controversial or made him seem like a jerk (to me anyway). Taylor is considered a loser because he got dropped by 19R and the show won't even show his picture on the opening credits.

I have Katherine's and yes Daughtry's too and like them both too but they aren't excellent like Elliott's is. I've heard Bucky's too and it's great. Haven't heard Taylor's, nor do I wish too, I haven't heard anything Kellie hasn't sung on AI and I wouldn't touch Ace's with a 10 foot poll although I saw it in the store the other day. Haven't heard Paris' either.

I keep hoping Love Hewitt gets to that point, but Ghost Whisperer was a big hit, so... in each case, I'm not holding my breath. Still, with topless pics like these, you figure the photographer got to see them, eh? Vicarious thrills... And may I laugh at those who are glad arrogant-ass Daughtry didn't win a meaningless show title. I'm sure arrogant-ass Daughtry prefered making buck with that incredibly successful album of his instead.

Is it actual gospel (ZZZzzz), "Christian" music like Rachael Lampa or Jaci Velazquez (both of whom I like a lot, so that might be fine), R&B, or what? A review of Ace's flop CD, by somebody who doesn't hate him with a passion, would also be nice. Paris' album is just as bad as everybody has been saying, and Katherine's isn't much better. If you like country, you will probably like the CDs from Kellie and Bucky (but stay away from Caaaaarmen's CD and Josh Gracin's second, career-ending quality CD). Elliot's is one of the best Idol CDs ever, and I like Taylor's more than most people did, though it's not great. The two songs he wrote and insisted on including are vastly better than the flotsam Clive stuck him with (anybody notice how the Idols Clive dissed both sold only about 700,000 CDs?) Taylor should also get points for insisting on keeping "Do I Make You Proud" OFF his CD.

Paris' made a HUGE mistake going R&B. - FLOP Kellie' sucks but cuntry music isn't always about quality music - Decent Don't even get me started on Hicks & McBitch's albums.
