Amanda: Was a bit more awkward in her performance I think. I really loved her first one, and this was OKAY. But, I still adore her and know she needs to be
here.
Nicole: Much better than last time. But not good enough. And really, what can she do in this competition? Made it past 1 round? Maybe 2? Go ahead and go home now. Great girl though. Luke: Didn't he suck enough round 3 not to warrant subjecting us to his awfulness again? First half of the song is completely bad. The second is awkward because of how bad the first was. Psh, go home. Roshani: We don't neeeed another Diva. Seriously. I'm so over her. I mean are we gonna get the "Slightly Older Divas" this season when they all get voted out? Cause I don't see wtf they're doing here other than taking up spots for actually interesting characters. James: Sentimental favorite of mine. I think he's adorable and sweet. Great song for him. He's so emo, but in a well dressed nicely groomed way. Love him. Defo top 6 material for me. Brooke S: I really hope she makes it over Roshani. I'd rather have this "belter" than effin' Roshani. She really can sing. I didn't give her enough credit last time due to her bad song choice. But this one is better... "Ever surviiiive" That part was pitch perfect and really beautiful. Maybe I was wrong about her. B.O. Bice - He looks like he stinks, just like Marty last season. Hate his voice. Please leave, kthx. And seriously, hootie and the blowfish? That's like the fucking anthem for the upper middle class white boy with a coke addiction. Not the hippy-haired...whatever, he is. Blech. Sophie Paterson - Definitely someone who will actually flourish during the weeks. I think she's definitely the best "diamond in the rough." She has so many layers in her voice if she can just figure out what to do with them. What I want: Amanda, Sophie, James, Brooke S (in that order) What I think: Brooke S., Roshani, Amanda, James |

Teale Jakubenko and Brooke are my favorite finalists so far. I hate Thanh, and the hippobeast woman who made it seems to be everything I hate about this
show. So mediocre and annoying. Proud Mary? Seriously?
Wes is okay for now but I think he'll get boring and repetitive. Everyone else is meh. As for the wildcards, I really only care that Sophie and Amanda (aka blonde, alternative Heather Matarazzo) get through. Sophie has potential to be a hilarious trainwreck and bottom 3 goddess, but she'd probably go first if she somehow randomly makese it. 
I wanted to love Nicole, but she's really never going to be amazing. Might as well get rid of her now before anyone gets too attached. FatBrooke is probably a lock, unfortunately, and pointless Roshani probably is too. 
AND EMOGODDESS KAYLA WUZ ROBBED 
Overall it seems to be a more interesting group than last year though. Out of the 16 people who haven't been eliminated yet, I like 8, so half is pretty good for me. Three of them are probably getting the axe tomorrow though. <3

Sophie is love but I get what you're saying about her. She doesn't seem like she'll be very good at making song choices. The judges seem to really
like Sophie though and we all know judge pimpage helps.

most pimped (along with tom i guess) and its easy to see why. let's hope tom goes out early. ugh. i also really like brooke, but her phrasing and
enunciations seem really affected to me, so hopefully she starts coming into her own a little more. i'm not sure what audiences see in thanh. and i'm
not sure what the judges see in james. he was probably one of the worst of the Top24 and he gets a second chance? ew ew ew. oh another note, i loved that
sidebottom dude. too bad he effed it up.

My wildcard review:
1. Amanda: Good. Fun. Interesting. A must for the finals. I'm confident that she will be one of the 4 people going through. 2. Nicole: I'm sad. I thought this performance was much worse than her group 1 performance. She's done. 3. Luke: GROSS! Did anyone else gag when he SNIFFED into the microphone!?!? What a waste of a wildcard spot... There's not even a hint of potential in him. 4. Roshani: This is nothing we haven't seen before from every other diva wannabe around the world.... but it was decent. Put her through. I see her making an exit at 10th place. 5. James: VOMIT-INDUCING! He sounds like Bert from Sesame Street singing and he has no stage presence or natural charisma. If they were going to choose some guys to be in the wildcard, at least choose guys with a shot. Wouldn't surprise me to see him make it through based on pity/cuteness votes though. 6. Natalie: Strong start... iffy ending. I'd say overall a decent performance and she deserves to move on to the finals. She's not very interesting though is she? 7. Jonny: I surprisingly liked him. I have a feeling he'll keep us guessing in the finals... I'm also banking on him and Wes splitting each others' votes and paving the way for an early boot for one of them... say 9th place? 8. Sophie: What.... was.... that? HORRIBLE! PAINFUL! EXCRUCIATING!...
Book a spot in the finals! For some reason, the judges have a boner for her... She's horrible. I mean... really horrible.... So horrible that I don't
think I would mind if she made the finals just for laughs. Thanks for murdering a great Mraz song! Anyways, Norwegian Idol watchers, back me up on this, but
doesn't this skank sound like a cross between Carrie Underwood and hideous troll Iselin? I'm going to hate her so much.
My prediction: Top vote getters = Amanda + Jonny Judges' Choice = Brooke + Sophie Which means Roshani gets the shaft/is the "OMG SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FINALS" robbed person this year. |

I'm on the fence with Sophie atm.
Sometimes, her voice is really chill to listen to. Other times it's like nails on a chalkboard. Especially last night where it sounded like she forgot the lyrics and her voice cracked a bit and omg it was disgusting. I still shudder at the thought. |

I love Sophie and know very well if she starts doing the right songs she'll inevitably become my favorite. But...for some reason her arrangements in no
way help her voice?? It's like she goes out of her way to pick songs that just aren't that nice to hear her sing :P
If she doesn't correct that soon, it'll all be moot. I assume she will get through to the top 12 because the judges love her, but they may go with Roshitty over her. Hopefully not. |

Finally caught up. I cannot believe Tom and Thanh made it. Oh wait, yes I can.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the other 6 who made it through so far. And yes Kenneth, that was the hot Latino guy I was talking about. I am glad he did so well. I am with PuPa, this Sophie chick is horrific. I don't know what you are all hearing, but good god, both performances were a mess. I love Roshani, but I don't think she brought it to either performance. I hope James goes home to his baby. If I have to hear about him being a dad one more fucking time...
The one I want to see the most out of the wildcard get into the top 12 is Amanda. Just love her. Also like Johny. And Roshani. I don't care about the rest of them. Fat Brooke = zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz |

Apparently the judges will pick 3 and then the public picks 1. That is sort of a reverse of last year where they revealed the top 2 vote getters first and then
the judges picked another 2. As long as the results are good, I have no complaints
