I don't see him as a typical 75 year old. He's extremely insecure. He's catty. He's desperate to have the approval of Memphis, a man who is over 40 years younger and whom he tried to turn the house against. He's a teenage girl in an old man's body.
Why do you assume that Dan is the same out of the house that he is in the house? He's said himself that he sees this as a fun diversion away from his life.
To be honest, I'm surprised that a Renny fan wants to see maturity out of HMs. Renny was always joking, laughing, making fun of people, getting drunk. Is Renny held to a different standard than everyone else?
I don't remember BB ever being about maturity, but I would say Dan has been a whole lot more mature than most of the people in there. I can name very few people who would ever be as patient with Jerry as Dan has been.
I think he's been one of the most balanced and reasonable HMs I've ever seen on this show, especially for only 25 years old.
I have no clue how Dan is outside the house (have no desire to know either). No, BB isn't about maturity persay but it is about intelligent gameplay not childish play. Dan's played a good game but unfortunately he was super juvenile acting during his HoH with his stupid watch me take a bath moment and that rediculous roulette game at the Veto meeting.
Renny acted silly because I think she's simply a show type person who goes a bit on the crazy side trying to keep others happy. Sometimes silly can be fun as was Renny to me and sometimes silly can be so immature it's childish and that is what Dan has been to me. Each to his/her own -I'm simply expressing my perception of Dan and reason I will tolerate his win if he does but I am more for Memphis and Keesha than Dan. I hate Jerry ! He should've never even been selected for this show and I don't care how good he's played, he's sucked so much enjoyment, any mood of relaxation out of every room, corner and couch he's appeard.
But Dan still has at least 4 beers in his HoH fridge, so they should be able to get a decent buzz.
