CBBUK: Holy Fucking Shit!! "That's just bonkers!"

She's not by any means my winner of choise (That'd have been Lisa), but I can deal. And the fact that it WASN'T Mikey makes it good already. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE and revel in the fact that the best reception out of the entire season went to Lisa. Whatever people may have thought about B Block (I personally would like to see them all get castrated or have a cliterectomy in Kat's case) or the Whisper Club (fuck yes I liked Rebecca and I will proudly admit it), it was nice to see the Lisa love grow slowly over the weeks to the point where she was the season's most well-greeted housemate. I fully believe that Darnell bullying Sara saved Sara the week she was up against Lisa, because in any other week Sara would've gone, and Lisa would have actually had a genuine shot at winning the show. I love that people grew to love her, I love that she was the ONLY previously evicted HM who got cheers tonight, I love that they included her delicious laugh in the Series Best Bits (and those were GREAT best bits). I would sum up this season this way: From the beginning until Rebecca's eviction it was fantastic, hilarious, full of (good) drama. The week Rebecca left and Luke sat there and moped and annoyed the fuck out of everyone including me was HORRENDOUS and quite possibly the worst non-BB8 week I've ever seen. When Nicole came in it energized the show again, so for a while it was still awful but at least it was an INTERESTING awful. When she left it became GREAT again, which culminated with Kat's hilarious eviction (I am such a sadistic bastard). And then the finale was ok. Sara coming 3rd <33333. Her winning would've been fabulous! So that's about it. Lisa has now firmly placed herself as my third favorite housemate ever, right behind Nikki and Glyn.

Lisa was the best received, the "cookie cutter" housemates were all hated by the majority, and the most fence sitterest housemate other than Maysoon wins the show.

Like for some reason I just can't get it thru my head that she won and I liked her. I don't know. Anyways, I am gonna finish up BBUK6 cuz I only have a few weeks left of it and than I am gonna take a break until CBB. And agreed Miki that if Lisa had survived Sara (which I am starting to wish would've happened just cuz she had a lot better chance at winning against Sara) I think that she would've probably won.

(CoconutPhone - you're a reasonable person, so tell me is it worth my time to watch the rest of it?) It's pretty tragic that on a season filled with dynamic characters, the equivalent of human wallpaper is the champion. I suppose Rachel should get SOME sort of reward for 3 months of pretending to not have an opinion, personality or any remarkable characteristics so that the british public wouldn't evict her. it's weird, although for most of the season the evictions went the way i'd hoped, on this finale night i would have actually preferred the boot order to have been reversed. anyway, i suppose this discussion is old news to everyone since you all saw it over 24 hours ago but I just had to vent somewhere. Preferably one with hawt boiz thx. I've seen all of the seasons of both and just started my yearly re-watching of BBAU3. So, I have to 100% suggest you watch BBAU3. That is the most brilliant reality show season of any for me. I have a feeling the reaction now may be a bit mixed but if you want genuine housemates who are hilarious and wonderful, watch it! I have no idea how, but the boot order was 100% ideal for me. 100%. 100 freakin' %. It also has some really good looking guys, depending on your taste. Saxon is 18 during the series and was supposed to be one of the heartthrobs. He's easily one of the most likeable male housemates ever for me. Vincent is 29 and so freaking hot (to me). Patrick is also 29 and really attractive in a very "mellow" way. There are hilarious moments, moments of hardcore drama, but I guaren-effin'-tee that you will fall in love with some of the people on that series. </amazingness> Given your love for Rex, I'm gonna suggest BBUK 6 as well because there were a lot of very in your face confrontational shit stirrers that season. BBUK5 for similar reasons. I think you'd really like Jason. Jason, to me, is the less charming earlier season Rex. And he isn't as attractive as Rex either. There's really no BBUK series to stay away from. Even BBUK4, despite being boring, has some really nice people on it. As for AU series, they can sometimes be hit or miss. Series 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8 I either do rewatch, or would rewatch. Series 7 had a good reception on Sucks...for one really dumb reason, but I thought overall the series was really crappy. If you must watch it, tune in around day 50 when an intruder goes in that makes the show tolerable. Series six has a really bad reception, but it had a really really good cast for me, and it did have a lot of really good looking guys. Like, hardcore. And it had one of the best bb females to come along in a while. Series 5 is probably one of the best received series because of Tim, Vesna, and Kate. It has some awesome moments and it definitely worth a watch. Hope that helps. When BBAU is at its best, it can really be an amazing show. But that's only the case for two to three seasons, max. BBUK on the otherhand is generally, generally, a much better show all around.

Personally I skipped all of Mikey's interview but watched Rachel's. The Best Bits of course are a must see. SoA I'd definitely make a point of watching UK S5-7 first, follow with Celebrity BB 3 & 4 and then if so inclined work your way through the others. I've only seen the last 2 AU seasons and both entertained me. One had a stellar, totally amazing winner the other had an OK but not as good as the runner-up winner.

Lisa was connected to the repulsive Mario, and shared many of the delusions of the Whisper Club (at least she managed to avoid using the finale to again accuse Rachel of trying to take her man). I think that would have limited her to third place against Mikey and Rachel.

You have to take into account the fact that Sara might have won the entire show if only she hadn't gotten close to Darnell again. Her downward spiral began the very night Lisa was evicted and she and Darnell had their pool fling. Had Lisa stayed, she would've probably worked out, said something ludicrous and gone to bed. She would've been the same all week that she was all season, and could've definitely won.

BBUK6...its probably my second favorite season of any reality show ever after PR1. The cast is absolutely perfect...there is not a single dud in the entire original cast (yeh, all 3 secret gardeners sucked) but the original cast is perfect, even the lamest Sam brought the drama. After that I would suggest BBUK3 for Kate, Alex, Jade & Adele. I hate every season of BBAU. Maybe I shouldnt have voted for the BBHOF when I got home all drunk, but I realized I voted for most of the people on the ballot in the first round already, except for the cast of BB1. I re-voted for Narinder, Alex, Adele, Federico, Michelle, Science, Kemal, Derek, Imogen and Nicky...but Science had better fucking make it, so vote for him fuckers. I was at a bar tonight and talking to random people about BBUK, I've never done that before, I really loved this season though, Yay Rachel.

Are the South Africa seasons worth watching? I was at a bar tonight and talking to random people about BBUK, I've never done that before, I really loved this season though, Yay Rachel. Well unfortunately some of the quotes or popular sayings from certain seasons become part of my daily lexicon. When there's an awkward silenc: ".......are you black, Darnell?" When something is easy: "A munkeh....a trained chimp could play this!" (We swap out play for cook, build, etc.) When we are very angry: "I'M FUMIN! I'M FUMIN! I CANT BELIEVE I'VE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH HEEEEH!" And then there's the always classic "Memba I told you!"
