Yeah, I know you have a low opinion of the NFC west, but the NFC north is nothing to write home about. Neither is the AFC east, for that matter. You can only play the games you're scheduled to play.

Honestly, beefcake, I don't know why you hate the Seahawks so much. They are the only team, besides the Patriots to win their division for the past 4
years. I know getting to the superbowl takes a lot of luck (injuries, ball bouncing your way, etc), but the seahawks have as much a chance as anyone.

No love for the best team in football taking the NFC???

No offense intended, Seahawketti. I'm just trash-talking, and I know there are Seahawk fans here. I like ripping on the Patriots, too, but it's not as
much fun since they're in the AFC. And it's no fun to rip on shitty teams: I could rip on the Eagles and Redskins, but that would be like kicking
someone when they're down. Same with the Pack. And making fun of da Bears is like kicking a retarded cancer victim when they're down.
So please take my teasing of the Seahawks for what it is: a sign of respect. |

It's going to be funny when the Vikings disappoint again.

No, it's going to be expected. I've learned to always assume that, no matter how good the Vikes look on paper, they will find a way to fail.
Why do you think I'm trash-talking now? This is the only time in the season I can be optimistic! |

I hear you, beefcake.
The Raiders will still be 0-0 after Sunday. Break open the champagne!! |

the vikings could be the only team in the league and still find a way to go 8-8 and miss the playoffs D=
but geneokerlund27 has the same optimism that beefcake has now =D |

Seahawketti wrote: I'm not sure what to do with my Jets season tix package. They are moving into the new stadium they share with the Jints in 2010. Jets truly shafted the long term season tix holders. If you sat upper tier (except dead center) , you don't have to buy a PSL. Since I have lower tier seats on the 10 yard line, I will have to pay 10K per seat just for the PSL. The cost of the season tix has doubled, so instead of 1500 for 2 seats, I will have to lay out close to 3K for 2 seats. There is a loophole for long term season tix holders (I got it from someone else but kept it in his name for this reason knowing years ago this would happen) who can opt to buy a non PSL seat in the upper bowl. If I can do that, I might keep the tickets. Certain season tix holders can't even keep the PSL. Their seats go to auction no matter what. Even if they have the money, corporations will no doubt outbid them. These fans are the truly shafted. Jints require PSLs for all seats. I have no issue with paying a PSL. But when 2 teams share the stadium, and they charge PSLs as if they are the only team at prices higher than the league average, I have a problem with that. Can't see the Jets/Jints justifying the costs at a time of economic downtown, in a metro area badly hit by the financial services mess. It's going to be interesting to see what percentage of both teams season ticket holders stay on in the new stadium. I think we'll see the most significant change to the waiting lists since both teams moved into the Meadowlands. I think I may wind up doing what sea/beef will do..individual games in the future. |

oh, and extra ire at the Patriots. They did not require PSLs for Gillette Stadium. I mean God bless the fans for being able to keep seats without PSLs and the
owner (ick) for pulling this off. But it's extremely frustrating to see a Super Bowl team build a new stadium without charging a PSL even a divisional
rival. And to see your team, a perenial shyte hole franchise that hasn't sniffed the Super Bowl in 40 years trying to justify this scam.
At least the Giants can somewhat justify, being defending Super Bowl champs, have won 3 since 86, and have a 75+ year history and tradition. |

That sucks. I can understand the teams wanting to make as much money as they can, but I agree that most teams have given up on caring about their fans --
it's easier and more lucrative to sell tickets to corporations. I suppose it must be even worse in NY/NJ, with all the big companies headquartered there.

PSLs are fucking criminal. It used to be that season ticket holders would get a discount. Now they just have to bend over even more.
