From comparing memphis' physique to dan's scrawny frame, to the way dan ran and hid in the hoh from ollie and memphis stayed and stood up to him, to the womanizer accusation that he associated with himself, maybe even on a subconscious level. In previous seasons, we would have D/M sitting around talking about how she's a whore, her pussy smells, and so on. They treat her pretty well. I don't think anyone should become too overconfident in the game, but I think Dan and Memphis have earned their place right now, and I would hate to see Jerry, who has been so vile and also so stupid, painted as the brilliant and ill-treated underdog. That's the part of reality TV I dislike the most, when past history is forgotten to prop up those who have failed.

If I remember correctly, veto holder has ALWAYS been safe. This is why Gerry used it week #1 on Marcellas, because he couldn't go on the block. Lisa definitely would have nominated him for using it. The only difference between that veto vs. the golden is that you can save yourself with the GPoV. The other veto could only be used on the other nominee (assuming one of them won it).

That's not my cup of tea. I like it for the game play and funny moments and the occasional fights and what not. But as you pointed out, D and M are playing great, but they aren't sitting around trashing people all the time, and talking about them like the scum of the earth. I much prefer this type of season to ones like S8 or S9.
