Dan is in a lose-lose situation. People will be jealous on both sides of the game, players and jury, once they find out. He'll have to be creative when this comes out. He'll tell Memphis that he left him there so they wouldn't have a target on both their backs. He'll tell Keesha that he didn't trust Memphis and Jerry to be alone together to plot. He'll tell the rest of the jury that Michelle missed out on Hawaii and won no prizes, and he felt bad about the roulette game which he realized was a terrible idea in retrospect. He'll tell Michelle he really screwed up and he hopes she forgives him and by the way, Jessie was the gorilla, and hey, maybe you two will get together after this is all over and my what pretty hair you have! LOL! He'll work this as best he can.
i don't think anyone will blame him if that's the way it was presented. i think maybe we're assuming he had more control over the terms of this deal than he actually did, though.
