lol at the bookies getting owned againActually, that's not true at all. Mikey's low odds are a result of people placing money on him to win. Money that they now get to keep. :P So, once again, the bookies cleaned up. :P It isn't ironic that this has happened a number of times now. I wouldn't be surprised if the bookies specifically skew finale odds so they make some money back that they lose on nearly every eviction of the series where the evictee is so obvious. |

I don't think they intentionally ranked Mikey the obvious winner to get money. It was so close and it easily could have backfired.

in fairness, though, with such a close finale i can well believe that mikey actually was leading up until that hour long break. that was probably death for
him, since it gave a chance for anti-mikey or pro-bblock voters to rally around rachel, not to mention the pressure there's been for a female winner.

The top 4 were just way too close to call at all. So the bookies were not at fault for the odds. People were stupid for betting the way they were in a four way
race.
Rex was 2.5% off from a quarter of the votes 4 ways. Sara was off 3% from a third 3 ways. Rachel edged out Mikey with the final hour of voting with 1% difference from him. |

I was just thinking when the final betting odds were released "I would bet money on Rachel." Just because it was like... bet one paycheck, get 4
paychecks back! For Mikey you'd have to bet 5 to get 6 back. You need a lotta money to be confident.
Anyways, unlike last year where I felt that the bookies COMPLETELY fixed the odds to make more people lose money by betting on Samanda when everybody knew Brian would win, I actually feel that everybody thought that Mikey really would take the win. It was a close vote anyways. |

Well, my gut instinct in this case was right! More people were voting for him than I thought, but I just knew he couldnt possibly be a runaway winner. The one
hour break when all the b-block supporters could just vote for Rachel definitely won it for her. Had it been Sara vs Mikey, it probably wouldnt have worked out
the same.
