How come no one has asked how many bjs did it take for Sarah to get the nomination? And did she have to swallow?

The only thing gays can't get under current law is health care benefits (unless the company offers them to domestic partners, as some companies do) and lower taxes. |

In countries with traditions of centralization, federalism tends to mean devolution. That's actually a more common word in Britain. In France, the
revolutionaries who wanted more local autonomy were called federalists. I guess the force of the word in the states tends to compensate for the status quo:
Hamilton was trying to fight balkanization, where Reagan was enlisting state sovereignty in his laissez-faire fight against strong central government.

I don't know, but Alexander Hamilton -- who created American federalism -- is so darn mad that he challenges you to a duel. Thankfully he's not very good at them.

beefcake, I think whether or not a few simple documents will suffice varies from state to state. Texas is one that that may not work in since the inheritance
laws are kinda weird anyway. The documents may allow for goods to be passed down that way, but the family may still be able to claim the body and/or prevent
the partner from haveing access to the patient, especially if it's a religious hospital

I guess it beats using "confederation."

After running for 19 months Obama actually sat down for an interview with someone who isn't votng for him in November, why hasn't Sarah Palin done the
same after less than a week?

Gregoire |

Wait, are you actually claiming Obama has never done an interview then? Do you know the voting practices of the hundreds of journalists that have
interviewed him? Because Palin hasn't done any interviews. At all.

Name a journalist who has interviewed Obama, besides O'Reilly, who is even suspected of being a Republican.

Thats a loaded bullshit question. Most people don't know a journalists political affiliation and shouldn't. He's been interviewed by most
mainstream media journalists, from the major TV networks and all the cable networks. You're just hiding behind your usual media victimization trope. Please
go throw yourself on your fainting couch again.
You can start with his interview with that extreme liberal organ Christianity Today, if you'd like.

We should be clear on the change Republicans have in mind.
Change the law and take away a woman's right to privacy and reproductive choice. Encourage (and require) that schools teach the science of creationism as well as the theory of evolution. Put prayer back in school and keep condoms out. If there is a wall separating church and state, then "tear down this wall." More guns, less gays. They haven't made a good movie in Hollywood since The Birth of a Nation. Some people need to learn their place and stop being so uppity. Remember the old days when we were able to hire lots of help? Now, they all speak Spanish. There's something that ain't right about that. School integration ruined everything. Infrastructure is an elitist, Communist word. Of course, it's all so much window dressing for the bottom line which is the bottom line: Don't tax the wealthiest five percent. (nice 300k worth of jewels you were sportin there Cindy McShame) |

You have to count people dying in the course of providing energy as a risk, even if it's something as mundane as falling off a building or other structure. To demand "risk-free" is to demand the impossible and to conveniently ignore the fact that nuclear is actually the safest form of energy yet developed. |
