I think if he slept down there, it'd be suspicious and come off as him trying to prevent Keesha/Memphis from being alone, and it could piss them off. Memphis would absolutely still take Dan to F2 if he won, he has a better chance of winning against Dan then against Keesha. Keesha, if she's smart, would take Dan to F2 if she won, she'd have a better shot at beating him than Memphis.

I think Keesha is playing emotionally right now. If she feels closer to Memphis, she'll take him to F2. Or if Jerry makes F3, she'd take him. She hasn't talked game in so long with Dan. Hopefully they will get a chance tomorrow, when he tells her she's not going up.

Then he added the black diaper part. Surely there's chop material in there somewhere. eta: LOLA, I think if Dan puts Memphis up, he would take him down with POV. The main thing Dan wants is for Jerry to GO...and at least with Memphis that's pretty much a sure thing. I'm enjoying the fact that they're going over their options like this, even if it does get confusing. eta2: And Dan is currently jamming out to The Killers. He strikes me as single minded when it comes to winning, and maybe part of that is the football stuff. He was able to swear on his church, family, and girlfriend and break that with absolutely no regret, he laughed about it. He's smart about the game, and focused, and playing to WIN, not place. So why would a smart gamer, who knows he fucked up many jury votes, not take Jerry to jury? It's one more week of putting up with the slimy bastard. It's the smart thing to do. He has no chance against Memphis, and it's even odds with Keesha. With Jerry? Much better than even odds if he takes Jerry. He even has his jury argument to Memphis ready. Memphis blathered on and on about this game not being personal, and that the jury members should vote for the one who played the game the best. Dan will just look sheepish and say he took Memphis at his word, didn't think he could win against him, and "played the game." Keesha, Memphis, Renny, and Libra would not give that money to Jerry. Frankly, I doubt Ollie or April would either, they were so creeped out by Jerry. Michelle might give Jerry a vote, but that's it. I think he's too smart to risk taking Keesha, and WAY too smart to take Memphis.

If Keesha's playing emotionally, no way does her fragile mindset lend itself to spending 3-7 days in a house all alone with Jerry. And If Jerry makes F3, it means he won POV and voted out Memphis. While she'll be happy to have made it and grateful for Jerry's decision, I don't see how this scenario makes her angry or disconnected enough from Dan to not take him, even though he is hated and even though Jerry already has three jury votes locked up. Who do you think she'll be talking and relating to during the days of the final 3 hoh contests? Do you honestly believe that person is Jerry? Not that I think she will make an emotional decision if she wins the final HOH. At that point, she'll have at least 24 hours from the second part of the HOH to think about a decision as she prepares to play in the third part. She'll literally be smelling the money at that point. She already distrusts Memphis to some extent. And, again, Dan will talk game with her this week. It's inevitable and he has the easier sales job than Memphis because he is the better goat and she knows it.

Memphis/Dan both believe Jerry is more of a jury risk then Keesha. They think that Jerry would get the pissed off jury votes bye deflaut. I don't believe that Dan thinks he can beat Jerry in the final 2. The fans wouldn't vote for Jerry, but the Jury certainly would. D/M/K/R also always talked about the fact that Jerry could win if he got to the final 2, because he is 75 years old. I don't believe Dan wants to be in the final 2 with Jerry. He just wants Jerry to pick him if he wins the veto and wins the final 3 hoh.

Rom, they finally decided that their best bet would be to nominate Memphis against Jerry Memphis even said something like "It sounds so fucked up [he looked up at the camera], I hope you're getting this on tape.. but it might be our safest best for me to go on the block.. " Basically the theory was that worst case scenario this week is Jerry wins POV .. their only chance of Jerry not booting Memphis would be for Jerry to believe that Dan has a deal with and wants to still protect Keesha and doesn't care about Memphis.. They obviously don't have the benefit of what we heard Jerry tell Julie on the CBS show tonight, so it probably won't matter in the end if Jerry wins the POV.. But that's their rationale .. And no nomination talk was given to Keesha up in HOH .. but Dan did tell Keesha when they were alone in the Hippie Room earlier in the evening that he planned to nominate Jerry and Memphis (this was before he got the okay from Memphis) I'm still hoping for a Dan and Keesha one on one strategy conversation at some point this week, hopefully before nominations.. but it doesn't seem like they're seeking out any time

Plus, April and Ollie somehow think they are popular and would want to maintain that popularity by voting for who America loves most as evidenced by the phone call. I think the Jerry debate is academic. I don't think he'll be lucky enough to get a comp as well suited for him as the HOH he just won, which wasn't timed, featured something he studied very recently and didn't require any real physical effort. And even then, he only won because of a bad throw on Dan's part. He's even in worse shape now because of the pool fall. If it is a straight up no frills BEFORE-AFTER comp, he might have a shot, but even then, I feel like Dan will beat him. If he doesn't win, he's toast. No way do Keesha or Memphis vote the other out, especially on short notice, which is what they'll have because they don't know all of the POV stuff is live. Keesha won't want to lose Memphis' jury vote and Memphis won't want to lose Keesha's jury vote. Plus, they all think of Jerry as a bigger jury threat than any of M/K/D. Peepaw is a BAD choice for him. Frankly, I don't really think Dan stands much of a chance of winning since they ALL hate him pretty much (except Renny). I think his best chance is against Keesha. I really think he'll stick with Memphis tho. It's like at the beginning with Brian. He's loyal to his buddies. Now Memphis I'm not sure about. He might just decide to take Keesha, I think for sure he could beat her over Dan. As for Keesha, I have no idea what she would do. She might take Dan because she knows how much he's hated or go with Memphis cause she's closer to him than Dan. Depends on if she's thinking with her brain or her heart. I refuse to speculate on what Jerry would do because I refuse to consider him getting to F3. If he does make it to F3, I plan on pretending he's not really there. eta: Thanks, Jo!
