Ratings: Did 90210 Score Good Grades?

The numbers are in, and the much-awaited/-hyped arrival of the new 90210 gave the CW its highest-rated premiere ever in the adults 18-49
demo.
In terms of total viewers, the sex-ucational adventures of Annie, Dixon, Naomi & Co. - with a bit of old-school Kelly, Nat and Brenda sprinkled in - averaged 4.9 million across its two-hour run. Those numbers represent a 40-percent better bow than Gossip Girl enjoyed a year ago. TVGuide.com |

I'm pretty sure a sarcastic doctor show and a teen drama "WHY AM I SO PRIVILEGED!!!??!!!" show have different audiences.
Oh, and a mystery show. Doesn't it play at 10 anyway? |

They already have their storyline ready to have him run away: the biological son will come back and Dixon will run away as he feels less important to his
adoptive father than his biological son is.

I really enjoyed the opening show. I think it's going to be a hit. And yeah, James Patrick Stuart, I totally remember him as Will Cortlandt on All My
Children. Good to see him acting again. I think the show offered a little bit of everything. I wish they had more than one black person, and they
could've added other minorities in the mix - at least a few.

Wonder how those ratings will hold up when HOUSE and NCIS return. HOUSE might be a problem, but I don't think we have to worry about NCIS and 90210 attracting the same target demographic audience. |

When I read Linda Gray was in the guest cast I got all kinds of psyched. I always thought her and Jessica Walter looked like they could be related. .. Forgot
about the Models Inc. connection, that would have been fun, Kyle Mcbride clutters it all up though, and because I saw both. Eden>Naomi.

I'm glad the ratings were strong. Maybe we'll get another decade of mindless fun.
Or I at least hope that it's on long enough that they start scraping the bottom of the barrel for cameos. Ray Pruit and Emily Valentine anybody? |
