iTunes has them for 99 cents. seriously it's not that expensive....yeah really, like a few years ago before iTunes hit big in other countries i wasnt into it, but now its like picking cherries off a tree, just buy the damn music...you know its worth it. |

don't know if anybody cares, but i emailed russ the other day asking him about the gabon theme, all he said was that he wasn't finished yet and was
putting the finishing touches on it.

I have a feeling Russ Landau will re-record the theme from scratch this season. It'll still be the familiar ancient voices, but I'm guessing with the
show's switch to HD, the audio will move to 5.1 surround. Since Russ has always said he'd worked exclusively in stereo before, I'm thinking
he'll definitely have to tweak the sound of the show to match it's new look.
Since he'd have to re-record the music anyways, I'm also guessing we'll get entirely new vocals, ala Africa and China. This is based on nothing other than my own speculation, but I think my thought process is somewhat logical. |

i agree witht that. with a location like gabon, russ has an opportunity to make one of his best! if it has new chanting for the ancient voices part i will be
happy. i hope the credits are cool too, seeing as how they are in HD

Yep, so officially Survivor Gabon: Earth's Last Eden premiere's on September 25th. Oh i have categories for castaway,probst and locations added to the

so anybody have any guesses of what the theme will sound like? i really hope russ rereocrds the chanting like he did the first time in africa... also think he
could create something cool by incorperating a lot of animal noises like gorillas, elephants that type of stuff

I thought it might go the "amazon in africa" kinda route because its earth's last eden and the scenery looks unlike anywhere else in africa. And
i also think it would be cool if russ did native chants for ancient voices.

I'm praying that it isn't an abomination of the theme song like S13, S14, and S16. I think since Gabon isn't just some random island nation,
hopefully Russ can come up with something good.
