The one place I would love to see them go is an island chain off Oman called Kuria Muria.

This is pretty much the only place they could safely shoot a Survivor: Arabia, because it's pretty isolated. There only seems to be one village in the whole chain. |

I believe Oman is an American ally (we buy their oil). They can just get the Omani navy to conduct an exercise around the parts, film during November so the
location isn't publicly stated, and attempt to keep filming under wraps if need be.
Probably the safest place in the Middle East, besides Dubai. |

Those islands don't look too hospitable... I also wonder if its too close to open waters for pirate territory. And I don't think Somali pirates hold
quite the same mystique as Drake or Morgan.

But they could! This could be the breakout series for modern day piracy that Pirate Master never was.
Drake's "mystique" was only in the eyes of the english. If you were a Greek ship captain or a filipino steward, it was just one more annoyance while you were trying to do your job. And I'm sure somali kids are playing at hijacking tankers, just like little english kids play at burying treasure and walking the plank. |
