Yay!! I went to the concert last night in Mpls!!!! EIEIEEEEEE! WOOOOOO!

OH MY WORD! The concert was GREAT! David Cook did not disappoint me and I enjoyed every minute of it! He was so hot and it was so unbelievable to actually see him in person! WOOOOO! I was screaming my lungs out and taking pics and video the whole time! It was so cool! I thought most of the other idols were pretty good.

Chikezie: He was ok... high energy and good way to start off the concert. Just not my style. He did Usher's "Caught Up" which I liked. Otherwise I didn't like his other 2 songs.
Ramielle: ZZZZZZZZ! She was very boring to me. Nothing else to say.
Michael Johns: Oh he is so hot! He was awesome too and his time went by WAY too fast! I loved his "Dream On" It was VERY good! He's just so sexy on stage!
Kristy Lee Cook: ZZZZ... another boring one for me. She sang "God Bless the USA" and I guess I have to give her props for that. But still, she's not my thing. And she wore that dumb white sparkly tank top that she wore on the show all the time!!
Carly: She was GREAT! I loved her and she looked fabulous! Her coming out with "Bring Me To Life" is really dramatic and gave me chills!
Brooke: She is so pretty! She's just down to earth and up there being herself. I did find myself bored with her snapping song though.
Jason: He was the same goofy guy that he was on the show! I was so happy to hear "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". He's not the best singer but we all know that.
Syesha: Man her BOOBS! They were SO BIG!
David A: Well, what can I say. I wasn't a fan of his on the show and I'm still not a fan. I loved him singing "Apologize" but other than that song, he was very very boring to me. I sat through some of his stuff while the screaming teens around me couldn't believe I didn't faint over his presence!
DAVID COOK: He truly is the star! STAR! Even his huge banner on the screen before he came out was AWESOME. Before we saw him we heard him singing "Hello......... Hello........." and then he came up through the floor and sang "Hello". *swoon* Then he sang "Time of My Life". *fanning self* Then he sang "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" *panting* Then he sang "My Hero" *almost fainting* Then his encore was "Billie Jean" *triple swoon and fainting* Ha ha, seriously.... it went by so fast... way too fast.

ANYWAY, now on to our little adventure after the show!

So we walk outside the Target Center and we see groups of people standing there looking at something and we hear random screams. So I told my group "Hey, let's just check it out!" We had nothing to do! The kids were at hubby's parents' house spending the night, we didn't have to get up! So we weaved our way through crowds and we see that there are security guards and buses there. And a railing is separating us from it. Hubby was very skeptical and didn't think we would see anyone but then the more we thought about it, we figured they have to come out at some point!

So we waited and suddenly there were screams! We looked and it was just Chikezie. So he was going through the lines of people and giving autographs. Then we heard more screams. It was Kristy Lee Cook. They both went through the lines pretty quickly because frankly, who really cares about them. So suddenly there were tons of screams and I look and there is Jason Castro!!!! There were a couple of girls by me and they were obsessed with him. They went off to look for a closer spot and view of him. So what do I do? I told my group that I was going to follow them and see if I could weasel my way into a closer spot too! I said that if I found a better spot, then I would call them. That worked and we were in a spot where we were almost front row to one of the railings! There were only one set of people in front of me. So my group joined me and we were sitting there waiting for Jason to walk by our area. When he did, it was unbelievable! I have never been in that kind of situation before and it was so much fun! Everyone was handing him things to sign and taking pictures. I could have touched him if I wanted to, that's how close we were. Oh and he's so cute in person... his blue eyes are BEAUTIFUL! I called out to him, "Aw, Jason, you are SO NICE!" Because he was being very nice to the obnoxious fans that were fainting all over him. Meanwhile, my brother is snapping pictures of him.

Jason passed by us and then we were waiting again. A few minutes later, more SCREAMS! I saw a little red blur pass by us, running... It was little David Archeleta! So we waited and he finally made his way to us. We took pictures of him. And I have to say, he is SO CUTE! He's just this cute little boy! Way cuter in person. And he is super short. Oh and we saw his dad too.

A few minutes later, more screams.... it's Brooke! She quickly made it to our area and as she was signing, she was telling us that she was the last person and no, David Cook was not coming out. Wahhh! But we snapped a bunch of pics of Brooke and I told her that she we loved her. And she is so BEAUTIFUL! Her hair is gorgeous!

Anyway..... I had it all set up with the guy standing in front of me. He was going to let me go in front of him when David Cook came out, so I could be right there in front and I was sure to get a picture WITH HIM! I was so ready to pose with him and I was going to have him autograph my shirt. ARGHHHH! I was SO CLOSE! And hubby wanted to shake his hand and tell him that he was awesome. So as we walked away and walked by the buses, I frantically waved and yelled HI DAVID COOK! I LOVE YOU DAVID COOK!!!! So maybe he saw me.

But we came home and read online that they weren't letting David Cook come out after the concert anymore because it's a security risk. Some fan jumped the rail and mauled him, so they said no more. Poor DC! And maybe you all know about that already and if I had been on the up and up, I would have known too.

So that's my experience and I can't wait for DC's solo career and tour!
