But just a side note, I also have a soft spot for Imogen, I don't really know why. It must be quiet girl syndrome I get from time to time with reality show players. There was just something great about her. I still sing "Imogen. Imogen. Imogen. On Big Brother. Big Brother. Big Brother. BIG BROTHER FMMMMMMMMMMM (breaking my ear drums)." and I also find myself singing "Beautiful Susie." Plus I watch the Imogen going to Australia clip from time to time as well. Anyway back to BB9, Mo's eviction was great in two ways. I was glad he left and he actually got a decent reception and the food eating montage and his best bits were great. I felt kind of bad for Kathreya, I know she overdid it but the boos she got were a bit uncalled for. I am glad she got more excited as she went through the crowd...but honestly she is a 30 year old woman...geez. And a gif of Davina's priceless reaction right before Rachel talked about being the disney characters would be great.

All of it. Aisleyne's reaction to moving there is a series highlite. Not even season: SERIES. It was designed to fuck with her (that HM) and it did a good job of it but the caliber of HMs was much better. Michael is one of my favourite intruders and HMs especially in his reaction to Richard's ludicrous behaviour. The S8 people were jsut skeezy skleezy people. I think of Shanessa nad shiver. The twist itself was SUPER confusing. People moving back and forth. There was no clear outline for how it worked. At least the S7 HND twist was properly laid out even though it was overly complicated.

Maybe Charley really was more vital to the show than I thought, but the halfway house thing was just too confusing. I mean, I remember when we all thought that when Ziggy and Liam got sent to the half-way house, they'd be going up for eviction. We celebrated. Little did we know they'd be getting a free ticket back into the real house and two of the brand new intruders would get the boot.... I have one word for that twist: USELESS.

You know it's bad when the F2 probably could not figure the way out of a one way street together. I loved Season 7, mainly because of Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace. She ain't posh because of the hyphen! But she was kinda cuntish on BBLB the last time I saw her. I also loved Season 5, Lipgloss Bitches & Victor <3. "NOOOOOOOO NEEEEEKKKKEEEIIIDDDD JAAACCUUUZZIII-NNNEESSS!!!" But Season 9 has been brilliant, much better than Season 7, especially towards the end. Great casting for this season, kudos for doing a 180 from last year.

It should have worked out that each HWHM was swapped over in some different way (votes from original HMs, task, random chance etc.) and each time an original took their place either by HWHM choice or some other method). By the time it came to vote to evict it should have been all original HMs. It just reeked of making it up as they went along and was horrible. Amy came off better after she found out how people were talking about her. She seemed to be more self-assured and intelligent and less man hungry. She also had one of the best exit interviews with Davina. Made me wish she was an original. Loved today's Daily. They should get them to watch an ep of the show in the final week every season now. What a great treat and fun for us to see. I've always wanted to know what their reactions were to seeing themselves and each other on TV. I know I would love it if I were a HM. Rex making himself cry <3 Everyone came off pretty well in this ep too. <--- Excited/sad. See you kids after the final! PS Keep your Rexealousy to a minimum will ya? ;)

Posts: 7122 (09/04/08 11:28 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Rachel's niceness has been a story-point in the way of no other housemate ever. w.ither samanda? since i expect to be pretty busy at work tomorrow, i probably won't be able to check back in this thread until after way after midnight tomorrow or even Saturday morning so as to avoid any and all spoilers. so just wanted to pop in and say - its been fun guys, and hope to see you all again either next summer (or perhaps in january?) at least half the fun with watching BBUK is getting to post/argue/laugh about it here, so thanks for all the heated debate and often ridiculous and passionate analysis. even though i wanted to punch a couple of people through the computer at times , at the end of the day it's just a tv show and a lot more entertaining when you have people to talk with about it. I'll be back to post my own post-finale thoughts probably a good day after everyone else, so as usual it will go ignored or ridiculed , but look forward to seeing what everyone else says anyway!

Bookmakers are saying that this year's final is too close to call. Nick Weinberg of Ladbrokes told The Sun: "This has definitely been the closest series of all time. "It's been really unusual because with three or four weeks to go there is usually a clear favourite, but this year it's been anyone's race. Only now is Mikey beginning to pull away, but it's still too tough to call." So far, a staggering £8 million has been bet on BB9, with an estimate £10 million more being bet in the run up to the final. Most of the money has been put on Mikey to win, who is odds-on favourite at 4/5 with Ladbrokes. Rachel is second favourite at 3/1, while Rex is third with 5/1. Rex's odds have been closing in on Mikey and Rachel over the last two days at a fast rate. Sara is fourth favourite at 6/1, while Darnell is least favourite at 20/1. However, the favourite tag has not always been reliable in the past. Last year, the twins Sam and Amanda were red hot favourites to win, but ended up coming second behind Brian Belo. Posts: 6479 (09/05/08 2:31 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	The only terrible weeks this season were the Luke & Bex show week and this one (apart from the eviction/impersonations task), while Season 7 mostly sucked - it seems to get a lot of nostalgia on here for being the first one a lot of people watched and because of a few good moments but I still think it has the worst overall cast ever. The only good people were gone by Week 4. I am in t.ears I have to go out tonight w.ither samanda? They never had a story in connection with the rest of the house - their arc was about their relationship with other and Amanda/Brian. They did get trashed for it, sure, but only by outsiders like Tracey - Rex and his posse (and previously Mario and his posse) were a massive part of the house, s it was far more important.

It does not sound likely at all, which is weird because RF has always been right about nominations. Someone else posted in reply at the DS forum that it was more like the bookie's odds with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th places being very close. I'm not saying what it is specifically but if anyone wants they can check the other thread for the odds.

Last year, even when the odds said Samanda would win, Brian still seemed to fit the pattern. It's always the earlier placements which interest me, especially in BB7.

These people are betting on Mikey because he has all the makings of a winner, and I'm sure many of those betters barely even watch the show. It just doesn't add up, the guy does terrible in every online poll. And remember that internet fans are the ones likely to vote most often. Plus, there's absolutely no way the votes don't come flooding in for Rachel or Sara if they're in the F2 with Mikey.

It's a little depressing and I get sad that I won't have new episodes it look forward to. I'll probably even cry if they do the lights out/season quotes thing or even just during the final wrap up of season highlights. I always cry at endings.
