My sis in law just told me that the current running time is 16 hours to Houston from just west of New Orleans.
Since I was born there, I've been in hurricanes since I was 3 or 4 years old. Poor old New Orleans. |

Who cares about New Orleans. It has nothing to do with American culture except during Mardi Gras. It was and always will be a smelly shit hole. Besides, this
won't even be a direct hit. And any deaths will be the fault of the dead themselves.

New Orleans was/is the central outlet for the crops produced in the midwest - it's still an important port for all goods moved down the Mississippi
