so i've been noticing that some of the tribes throughout the seasons have had symbols accompanying them. in all-stars for instance, saboga had that crazy looking bird, mogo mogo had the monkey and chapera had the lizard. also in palau, koror was a sting ray while ulong was a shark. the ones i'm really looking for though are guatemala. i was watching the mayan calendar puzzle challenge and when nakum got theirs all put together, i thought i saw a jaguar in the middle, but i wasn't sure. then in the finale, when they had the choice of putting the puzzle together, they could choose between a jaguar, a monkey or a crocodile. which one goes with which tribe? anyone know?

Most of the tribes have symbols like
in panama the symbols were a mermaid,fortune teller,alligator and snakes in cook islands the symbols were a sea turtle,dolphin,lizard,ray in micronesia the symbols were an octopus and a sea snake and there were others |

In Australia, the symbols are: Kangaroo (Kucha) and Crocodile
(Ogakor).

You're right you guys!!! In the begining of the Amazon, the ladies were stork (Jaburu) and the guys were fish (Tambaqui). For the merge, they were alligators (Jacaré) |

They only started doing the tribe symbols with Pearl Islands where you can see the captain's faces on their flags. Then in all-stars it was solidified and
ever since that's been a standard.
Vanuatu - Bat and Turtle Palau - Shark and Stingray Guatemala - Jaguar and Alligator Exile Island - Mermaid, Fortune Teller, Snake, Alligator Cook Islands - Dolphin, Lizard, Turtle, Stingray Fiji - Axe and Spear China - Dragon and Tiger Micronesia - Octopus and Snake Also it's interesting to see where they got the names of tribes: Borneo - Island Names (beaches) Outback - Animals (kangaroo and crocodile) Africa - African Tribes Marquesas - Water and Sun Thailand - Phrases Amazon - Animals (bird and fish) All-stars - Island Names Vanuatu - Volcano Names Palau - Island Names Guatemala - Lake Names Exile Island - Island Names Cook Islands - Island Names Fiji - ? I believe "motu" means spear and "ravu" means to kill in Fijian. And I loved Thailand's totally random tribe names <3 ช่วยกัน and

Palau - Island NamesNot sure if you're necessarily wrong, but Koror is a city, as it is the capital of Palau. I thought that Nakum and Yaxha were named after ruins in Guatemala.Correct, I don't think they were lake names, unless they were both. |
